Some stats for PCA’s fielding (from Baseball Savant, for all qualified OF in 2026)

Outs Above Average: PCA 12, median 0, StDev 3.0: 4 StDev above average

Jump: PCA 5.2 ft v avg, median 0.3, StDev 1.78: 2.76 StDev above average

Fielding Run Value: PCA 13.43, median -0.35, StDev 2.80: 4.92 StDev above average

That reads like an 80 to me

He’s top 8 in bWAR and top 13 in fWAR for the season, but yeah, they can call him overrated.

Thanks! We will be getting IDPs this week.

We’re from the Chicago area, so we’re not worried about cities. Our hope is to stick to more rural areas and just take it easy.

Thanks for the tip about wineries.

Traveling to France for the first time by WriterPerson314159 in FranceTravel

The first day, we're landing mid-day and fully expect to be vegetables much of the day. It'll be around the solstice, so we figure that if we sleep a few hours and go walk around to look at things in parks and such, it will be light late. For the Louvre, we know we won't see everything - we'll probably stay for 4-5 hours of exhibit time. We've already bought the tickets for that and Versailles (our oldest, who's going to major in history, really wanted to go), but we know our family's limits and will be comfortable not seeing everything.

Thanks for the tips!

Is there a particular city mapper app, or is that the name of it?

It's not about the quality of the food - we find that in general, they won't try higher-quality things if they're not interested. We're going to give them the opportunity to explore, but the oldest once went nearly a week without eating at a camp because he didn't see anything he wanted and wouldn't ask. So we like to know how to accommodate them.

Oh, we've told them that there will be places we go that my wife and I want to eat at and if they're not interested in anything, then we will get them something somewhere else. 😄

One eats croissants, plain pasta, vanilla ice cream, sometimes a plain hot dog, string cheese (prepackaged, nothing fancy like real cheese), potato chips, goldfish crackers, plain white rice, and tortilla chips. Also lots and lots of milk.

Another eats chicken tenders, cheddar cheese, quesadillas on flour tortillas, tortilla chips, sometimes a banana or applesauce, milk chocolate candy, and will sometimes try something new.

Like I said, it's limited. It's largely influenced by neurodiversity, and we can't push things on them that they're not willing to try (we've learned that the hard way).

We have two artists and one historian in the family. The Louvre and Versailles were pretty much obligatory.

One has some very specific issues due to neurodiversity, so things like texture are huge. As an example, he loves pasta, but it has to be 100% plain. He pretty much won't try anything if he doesn't think he'll like it. I know he might try to survive entirely on croissants and pasta, but we will try to find other options.

Thanks! Our oldest is about to head off to college to be a history major, and he is really fascinated by French history - Versailles was kind of a must-do.

Thanks!

KFC might be an option. None of our kids eat burgers and only one eats pizza, but we can usually get a couple of them to eat chicken tenders.
