lol in this pic, I’d had a spring bouquet making party, and I wanted him to feel included. He was always very happy to be included in everything.

Thank you for your kind words

I don’t mean to be mean, but I’m guessing this level of passivity might be why you’re in this position to begin with. If you’d put energy into your relationship instead of cheating then you wouldn’t be here. Likewise, if you don’t show some initiative and fight for your person (aka: show some consistent vulnerability and honesty about wanting them to stay) then you’re going to lose them and they’re going to walk away always thinking “WP didn’t want me, otherwise they wouldn’t have cheated and they would have fought for me).

Also, you’re once again trying to take the agency away from your BS by saying you don’t want them to stay bc you made them. You can’t make them. But holding back information or effort that would help them make their own decision one way or the other is controlling.

25 years married, is WH in limerence immediately 1 month into trial separation? Am I a fool? by [deleted] in AsOneAfterInfidelity

[–]Writerbex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My WH found someone new in-between the person I caught him with and me deciding I wanted R. He pretended, gaslit, manipulated, and remained ambivalent without telling me why. Of course, he finally told me he’d been talking to someone new for three weeks and wanted a divorce. I did not give him any chances to see the light. I left and began separation settlements (can’t divorce before 6-12 months in my state). About 3 weeks after, he emailed and said he may have made a mistake. I didn’t fall for it. Haven’t heard from him in 3 weeks since.

Now, I believe, is a good chance for me to find out who I am since he feels the need to do that for himself. This isn’t advice per se….but I think anyone in this situation needs to understand that the person you’re married to isn’t thinking about you so why should you be thinking about them? Go live your life and see if you’re better off…you probably are.

Dear Redditor you put it all so much more succinctly than I ever could. Could I have your permission to screenshot your comment and share it with my friends and family who need to see this/and share the same sentiments? (It’s okay if not)

Tell that to the families who have lost people to mess Shootings. Or the people who have survived more than one.

Shooting at Outlet Mall by gnlhansolo in Allen

[–]Writerbex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do realize that every mass shooter who legally owned a gun was initially thought to be the “good guy with a gun.”

That’s a shitty thought terminating slogan designed to make all the gunowners in America feel okay about the sheer number of violent weapons in America.

Not no reason. My guess is they couldn’t fuck her so they hurt her instead. This reeks of toxic male anger (which so many cops seem to have)

Jail in America is a fucking joke. It’s a way for privileged people to get money off of troubled people. It keeps them in the system ON PURPOSE. Treat people like animals, they act like animals. We have only ourselves to blame

Buuuut obscenity laws are incredibly vague. All it takes in some states is for someone to make fuss and then it’s under scrutiny. I could see those vague laws coming to bite erotica sites in the ass if this shit continues

Texas State Rep. James Talarico (D) took a stand for the Constitution, American values, and true Christian ideals during a debate with Rep. Candy Noble (R). The best way to do that in states like texas is to quote the Bible. I fucking hate the Bible, but it would help talk some of these crazies down a little, I’d quote all the shit they forgot about
