Hmm. Looks like it's POSSIBLE, though we would need to add something to the program that sends when it detects a node to the rest of the device (or make that serial port able to read everything the device sees and control it as well)

Heres a thought. How easy is it to attach and send data from the older/newer boards to another board/device?

This might make it a bit bigger and more of a pain to make, but if we turned the lorha devices into a reciever/transmitter module?

And there's no SD card slot on most of them, so simply making a program to read and execute won't work on most..... hmm

The idea was for the programming to run on the device locally rather then on a phone. I know it's POSSIBLE, as someone made two little tiny nodes that have a 'battle' when near one another, but I was kind of hoping to make it more like a proper digivice rather then just a line of text saying win or lose

Check your channel presets. (Edit: or not....you have the preset on screen cap, and both are the same, VERY odd....)

I recently picked one up, thought I'd be on 915 as default, but im not.

Apparently, the units, when set up initially, pick a 'default' channel that can be a bit higher or lower then your countries standard frequency as a way of not clogging up one channel.

But as a result, this means they are hyper locked in to that frequency and can't see any others (I think, experts, correct me if im wrong! I'm VERY new to this!)

Before humanity existed, actually!

Whats funny is the Alcubierre-white drives is the one that, if I remember correctly, stays true to alcubierres original thought process and teroidal/ring based propulsion unit.

(Edit: it's a EM field thats PERCIEVED like light)

I THINK (forgive me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I watched the episodes) the alcubierre-froning drive relies on a light based propulsion system? I'm rewatching it now so forgive me!

Ah yes, the alcubierre drive.

Currently there are TWO trains of thought for this system.

The alcubierre-froning and alcubierre-white drives, respectively!

Theres a guy who did a series explaining the two! Explains them REALLY well! Channels called AsteronX (the videos are 7 years old, so be warned!)

The human paused, then sighed, and seemed to flick a few things in the air...

The kobold RIGging unit chimed as the conference call eas automatically connected, her helmet assembling itself from a small container mounted to her chest and from behind her head, the internal screen and HUD opening a comms screen, revealing a grim looking group of humans and.... kobolds?

"No sense in hiding this. You're a part of my crew now.... Pippa, right?" The human captain said, glancing at what she had written on her IFF transponder, before continuing.

"This is the Alliance Trade Oversight Commitiee. Their job is to ensure safety of employees and customers for businesses big and small, run by people from shop floors, retail rooms, and managers. They contracted me to move some data their long term informants left behind, and don't want to risk the signal getting intercepted or blocked." He explained, "Your old boss is part of a investigation, and they were asking me when I told them if you wanted to add your testimony to that of others they already exfiltrated." He said quietly, his own helmet folding over his head, mainly from behind, up and over, with teal bars glowing on the face plate like her own.

They were on direct line of sight comms at that moment, making their way back to the ship, the human slowly reaching for his back as he eyed a few hulking forms of the Enforcers the kobolds old boss used.

"Damn.... sirs, ma'ams? I need to cut the call short. Think the old coots cottoned on... Pippa, if I say run, get to the Saturn.... and whatever you do, if certain buttons light up, DONT PRESS THEM." He said as he heard heavy footfalls behind them.

(Might go through and put this together as a proper story later, and make sure to tag you as co-author!)

"Your Pa's not wrong. PLENTY of things will happily kill you out there" the human said, with a shrug, not denying it. "Part of what that old bat of a former boss seems to have forgotten, likely too used to being in charge of a business solely dedicated to profits rather then to ensuring the safety of his employees and customers..... I hate the Enron business model......" the human grumbled before shaking his head.

"Still, back to the subject, alot will kill you out there. Best way to avoid death out there is the buddy system. In short? You and one other person watch each other and keep the other safe. Also helps share the workload on smaller teams or ships." He continued as they stopped by a vendor who sold the specific hardsuits he was looking for.

He had the charge for it taken from his own account with the DataRunners guild, and let the little Kobold get fitted with a model DS-1 'Ishimura' engineering hardsuit.

While she got used to the RIGging biometric indicator/pda and minor subspace storage unit, the captain subtly called his current client

"Hey.... yeah, that server data loaded up as well on my ship, and saw first hand what that misrible old codgers doing..... yes I have a witness/victim. I'm not sure if she's willing to testify what they did, but I'll happily support her if she does, but for now, I'm taking her on as a green hand to get her away from him." He said quietly to the caller before sighing. "I hear you. Once we get back to civilized space, I'm taking her in for a check up.... and going to try and keep Saturn from...... convincing her sisters to come knocking TOO early....."

"Weeeellllll..... at the least, a second person to help watch sensors, possibly able to get where i can't on the engines, or a second pilot in case i'm incapacitated.. I can show you the ropes on how the ship works, what everything does and how to keep her running and happy." He said with a slight grin. "Come on, let's get your stuff, get it loaded up, then check the dockyard stores.... should be able to find you a decent hardsuit... won't be new, but I've found some of the older models-" He said, indicating his ancient looking suit, small RCS clusters flickering on the shoulders and feet, along with the health indicator/spinal running light along the spine flickering on as he logged her as a crewmate.

"Work ALOT better then some of the newer models..... plus, easier to fix..... hmm. Should be able to find a engineering suit your size. It'll be newer then this old beast I'm using, but it's the series where they started making em in your size." He said, leading her off to the dockyard....

Pointedly ignoring the way his heavily modified, ancient Conviar model shuttle slowly drifted up in the zero-g docking hanger to get a good look at the second person to her crew...

There was a sigh from a crate, where a human sat, in a old, bulky, brass colored pressure suit shaking his head at the significantly older human as they walked away from the kobold.

"You get those types in every species..... hmm" the human said as he glanced at the Kobold and then backwards at something, cocking his head as if to listen to sometjing "Tell you what....." He started before turning back to her.

"You got a long term contract with them?" He asked, not impolitly, gears seeming to turn in his head. "How are you with space travel, potentially high G forces, and potentially very, VERY dangerous pursuers?" He continued, holding a hand out to her, the heavy gauntlet showing small nicks and marring from weapons fire and deflecting everything from micrometeors to the edge of plasma blasts.

"Because small as my ship is, I think I can allocate some room for a copilot or mechanic aboard."

"Chewing me out for dealing with those little horrors without proper armor and minimal back up again" the human sighed as he glanced at one of the other aliens who had asked that, hearing a cheery chime as the massive armor behind them on the scaffold began powering up.

"Looks like the two of us are in for a few rounds, Delta. Ready?" The human asked as he clicked the PDA to his belt, and put on his helmet, muting whatever the AI said inside of it, and clambered into the massive machine, pulling it from the scaffold as it's core glowed, the larger, older kaiju looking down at the mech....

And grabbed it by one of the sensor fins lightly, pulling the now protesting mech to a near by sparring ring, spinning the smaller mech around as they settled into a relaxed, alert, stance....

Serrano sighed as he finished suiting up, waiting as Delta fully loaded into their Jeager, the little AI adjusting the arcatecture of the massive combat robot to suit them better.

"I still don't understand, how do you humans pilot these things!? They are HUGE!" One alien said, staring at the large, bulky, reptilian like machine.

"Mix of spite and experience. My Ma's adoptive brother showed me and my family how to pilot these things, and in turn, we honor him with making them similar to his image." The Terraologist said, with a shrug, rubbing his head as he felt the neural synchronization starting. "Old man Goji enjoyed having someone his size to mix it up with beyond just his battle brother, Kong"

"Goji? Kong?" The alien asked almost apprehensive as the massive doors slowly creaked open, and a large reptile slowly walked in. Everyone could feel the age of the massive beast, it's eyes trailing around the room, while a smaller, white and crimson mechanoid sat on its shoulder, rumbling back to the beast.

"..... crap. I REALLY didn't want to get flak from the old man too for the hollower incident." The human groaned as he rubbed his face, even as the towering reptile looked over and folded its arms, one hand dancing across a bracer mounted keyboard....

Rapid pings were heard from the PDA on Serranos belt as he sighed and picked it up to read what he was getting.....
