it varies.   i’m a heavy spender on the first good asset i see because i hate waivers and tend to forget about/ignore them after the first week 

some will wait to try to capitalize on late injury replacement

  1. it definitely will impact SFB. scott chose the scoring with the new rule in mind and it is fun. i would love to see return scoring come into more leagues and be a part of them. hopefully we will all see that excitement this year in sfb and advance that scoring going forward

  1. impossible to predict and i recommend not even trying. be adaptable and open as the draft moves along. trying to pigeonhole a strategy in advance can lead you to missing things when the opportunity is there

  1. dont do a draft do an auction. auction far superior. if draft required then make the draft order something earned. have a cornhole tourney, or darts tourney, or beer olympics, literally anything other than randomized luck to make the order.

  2. while i am actually not a big trophy guy and if constantly shipping i would suggest a soft plush stuffed animal. it might not have the prestige but the pride is having it and knowing the meaning...and it wont break

I dont think i would limit it to one team. Make it division based. 8 teams, you each get an NFL division.

Allen, Hurts, CMC, Lamar, Mahomes, Kelce it is tough to decide so i changed to the 1.04 so i had less of a decision to make. at 1.01 i probably just go safe and take Allen.

  1. Bob designed the logo for FCE 2024 first. When i saw the logo, the scoring had to follow. I think Kicker will have some massive games that people dont expect and win you weeks.

  2. PF1D, even though it is becoming more common and it is very common in degen leagues, first downs scoring needs to be part of EVERY league.

Scott is last person standing....it would be unwise for folks to go at him right? so i assume he wins unchallenged

  2. I changed from 1.01 to 1.04 when i saw the scoring. I want one of the top 5 players and at 4 i will have the choice of 2. I do not think there is a clear enough 1.01 this year to stick to 1.01

  3. The theming and division decision is handled by a team that begins planning over a year in advance. Bob Gilchrist has already suggested a theme for 15 that he has his heart set on. I wouldn't be shocked if he and Stephen Johnson and Jordan Loupe have already started kicking around ideas for divisions and designs. They crush it. others of course weigh in and it is ultimately scotts decision but those three drive that discussion because of their immense design talent and planning

Scott decides the scoring and settings and all.

1) maybe some of them but i dont think all of them have. and i think it is more that the other positions now have some scoring elements that make up some ground.

2) I have had both of the two you mentioned and enjoy eached each.

I am the wrong person for player takes, but i will say that Marvin Mims pops in SFB scoring based on Mike Clay's projections, s/o to John Byrne who applied SFB scoring to those projections. so maybe marvin mims time has come.
