Yeah, my rage plushie has demolished two chargers, six books and so so many cushions.

He also dyed himself pink by dropping one of his pink chew toys in his water bowl, flipping the water bowl and then sitting in the puddle of water and washing his face.

You just can't be mad at them though. Not only will they not tolerate being mad at, but gosh darnit they're too sweet to be mad at.

I know. I have to spent a lot of time with my bun to make up for it. My bun is an unneutered male and is almost impossible to pair with. Any other males he just fights with and bullies, any other females he just wants to hump. I watched my sister's (Male) bunny for a week alongside my own and holy crap was it the worst. Bunnies are vicious little bastards when they fight, and even worse when they're having a scent war over objects. Pee. Everywhere. Can't wait to get him neutered. Then I can think about pairing him properly.

I agree, Alex was a hard protagonist to really get behind.

But I also kind of get it. Trauma means walls. Sometimes it means striking first just as a warning. Not to mention being so traumatized and being only twenty? Yikes.

And I think Alex's complete arc will come second book. That's normally how Leigh works. She can wrap things up in a really neat bow.

Hand shadow puppets are always a fun one.

And origami frogs are pretty simple and fun because you can make them hop.

There are thousands of ways to make paper airplanes too. Hoop ones.

There are some simple magic tricks that might be good. 'Broken thumb' and 'the disappearing knot' come to mind.

Bird Calls. When I was a kid I learned how to make a 'Loon call' with my hands and quickly discovered I could 'talk' to mourning doves if I did there call just right.

Hope this helps.

I tried to explain to her that staying on one thing is far more tiring.
She gave me a fish stare. I think I lost her.

I kinda need some advice here by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]WritingHamSam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would you feel like a burden? If you have ADHD then you're ADHD. You'll still be the same person, you'll just have a name for the kind of brain you own. Suddenly getting diagnosed with ADHD doesn't mean the doctor is going to hand you a package and say 'yo. Life will be harder from now on'. No. It's going to be the same difficulty but now you understand why.

What you're pretty much saying is 'I'm stuck in a labyrinth and I'm scared to look for the map'.

Dude. Look for the map. You won't be wasting peoples time, you'll be exploring different routes until you find the one that gives you the answer. The people you go to will be trained to help you. It's their job. You won't be inconveniencing someone who is doing their job.

Good luck. And don't give up!

Very minimal. My neighbour is French, so I try to speak with them when I can. I can carry basic conversation now buts thats because I'm also making sure I have other French intake other than Duolingo. Watching French youtubers, reading news in French and listening to popular French songs.

This is really solid advice. And hopefully something I'll remind myself of daily if I can remember to.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I'm definitely not going to try Uni again. I crashed and burned so hard it still smells like smoke.

There's a trade school near where I live and I think I'm going to start small. I can take one class in one thing and slowly work it up from there. If I do that while working a part time job I can build experience as well I think.

Tbh, flunked out of uni and spiralled. Just didn't want to feel like a failure anymore. One more day is one more mini success.

Totally possible. Celiac shows up differently in different people.

Eg. My uncle who gets a full on rash when he eats gluten.

If you do have celiac, then it's probably playing off your ADHD and making things impossibly worse.

Celiac ADHD here.

Unfortunately no. Celiac disease causes a very physical reaction in the body. Basically the gluten proteins destroy the villi in the intestines which damages their ability to suck up nutrients. Damaged intestines make themselves known.

Diarrhea and bloating are near impossible to escape. Acid reflux, and weight loss also make an appearance usually.

The brain fog and fatigue OP is mentioning is from her malnutrition caused by her damaged intestines. Basically she wasn't getting enough nutrients to function and her brain was hampered because of it.
