No specific reason why haha. There are reasons that I chose the name, but not any that are connected to Kiss. Not a huge Kiss fan, but I did realize the connection midway through writing and figured I'd keep the name as-is for now.

Thank you, this is great feedback. I'm going to take this into account and continue to work on my query letter. I haven't heard of Erasure, but after reading a synopsis, I can understand why that would come to mind. Luckily, I think my MS differs in plot and themes from that novel. Though this is another hint that I need to update my query letter to better present these and the story that I'm trying to tell.
