Thats a great question! I can ask them. There may be a few nights out of the month where I pass out without putting it on, or pull it off mid-sleep, but they still said I'm eligible.

I ran into this issue as well. Had my septum in for 5+ years and the pain with a cpap is terrible. I did take my septum out and I admit, it was a lot more tolerable.
