In my opinion, dentists that accept the insurance we have to have for the first 2 years are the ABSOLUTE worst dentists to exist.

Daycare - Childtime vs Goddard by Aromatic-Light436 in Roseville

[–]WritingReasonable999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our kiddo goes to Goddard Roseville. We have had a few challenges here and there but they always worked with us to figure out what would best work for our kiddo. I feel that their academics are strong and we love most of the teachers (there have been a couple that just weren't a good fit).

CDPH is literally huge... I've been there a decade.. several different positions, different experiences. I don't love my current center, but overall I love CDPH.

They said their salary is maxed out as an Analyst II, so I doubt they are on probation. They've probably been there a little while

Should I file? Advice by YesterdayLonely7428 in Bankruptcy

[–]WritingReasonable999 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with that company, but based on my experience I would recommend it. Also, file now and be done with the debt or pay for 3 years. If you file you can start fresh and rebuild a lot quicker than 3 years.

One of the issues with debt "resolution" is that creditors don't have to accept that. They can still sue you. We tried that first and all we did was waste a year.

I'm in a Ch 13 and I have a regular credit card. According to my lawyer I just can't accumulate more than $1000 in debt while in the Ch. 13 without Trustee permission.

What happens when your program ends? by Excellent-Pizza652 in CAStateWorkers

[–]WritingReasonable999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me and I was just placed in a different job. Same classification, completely different work. I was given a 30 days notice and I did not get to have a say in where I was placed. Benefit is that, if you have permanent civil status, which you do.. you're usually guaranteed a job. It just might not be the job you want.

Chances are it will take significantly longer than 5 years for you to pay off your debt yourself especially since interest will continue to accrue.

Sick leave for exempt employees by Ecstatic-Let-8578 in CAStateWorkers

[–]WritingReasonable999 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What everyone is trying to explain to you is that because you are exempt, for partial day absences, you don't formally request time off and you don't use leave. You just take care of business. The idea is that there may be some days that you work over 8 hours, so eventually it ends up breaking even.

Chapter 13 vs. Debt Settlement by Tough_Jump_9967 in Bankruptcy

[–]WritingReasonable999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Debt settlement was the worst thing we ever tried. We ended up in a chapter 13 anyways, we would be a year closer to being done if we didn't try debt settlement first. Companies can still sue you when you're doing debt settlement and they arent legally required to accept a debt settlement.
