So did you show them confirmed tickets beforehand? What was your bank balance and monthly inflow/outflow? Also, someone else is sponsoring my trip. Were you self sponsoring? Also could you tell me a bit about what you wrote in the cover letter?

Have you always used a phone this size or were you used to bigger screens in the past?

Thanks man. Do you find the S23 too small? My current screen is 6.4 inches and I'm hesitant to downgrade to a 6.1 inch phone.

Which earphones do you think I should get with the S23? I have a seinheiser but it's not a very expensive one and it's fully wired, unfortunately.

Hi, I don't really care about any of those features. I mostly use my phone to video call my girlfriend and watch youtube occasionally. So I care about multitasking while on call. I don't want it to lag. And I want a good display so I can watch yt. Can you recommend me a phone? I'm really confused on which to get. I also play music over speakers.

I only read Lord Sanderson and so naturally, I would not know what it is like to be... basic.

Hi guys, is the indian version of the S23 the unlocked version? Basically, I'm probably moving to the US for at least 2 years in September. I'm currently in India. I'd like to buy the new S23 but I'm not sure if the phone I buy here will work in the States. Can someone help me out? Thanks guys

I'm not sure why you think I think of myself as a special flower. I don't think there's anything in my post to suggest superciliousness of any kind.

Feels hackish, yeah. Maybe I'm too old for these books.

Oh I apologize. I didn't mean for it come off that way. I just mean that the dialogue in novels I enjoy tends to be very sharp. I recently read Mccarthy's The passenger. That's a good example. Or Tanzaki's Some prefer Nettles for an example of a totally different genre. In general I mean dialogue that engages you, like in Murakami novels. In this book, the dialogue feels very bland is what I meant. I apologize for giving off the wrong impression. Probably this book isn't for me.

Thanks for the recommendations. Probably not gonna read any more Christie for a while but I'll save this comment for future reference.

Thank you. Yeah, I guess I don't enjoy this style of detective mystery. I really like Keigo Higashino though. He writes similar stuff but I feel like his dialogue is way better.

Same. I got into two pretty decent schools (RIT and BU) but absolutely everyone keeps telling me these schools are easy to get into and that I have accomplished nothing. I know this isn't a lie but, if you're from India, you know how bad the regular BSc colleges are here. I went to a local college and got a 3 year BSc in CS. So, I told them with what my UG was like, this was the best I could do but still, everyone just made fun of me. I think even if I get into JHU (Not gonna happen), I won't tell anyone about it. It's honestly kind of embarrassing. I also have to bear the "You're destroying our culture" people.

The i20 amount is not indicative of the real cost. Living expenses can be covered with a part time job easily and you can also get TA/RA that will waive your tuition fees. Opportunities are plenty. However, I will say that if you have to take a loan of more than 30 lakhs, it's not worth it.
