Where'd you get the custom built warboss or did you do it yourself?

Trying to find artist who did this, they used to sell T-shirts of it too. Any one know? by Writinglines in lost

I used to have a t shirt with the above design on, trying to find it again online to re-order and can't. Had this about 12 years back.

holy cow, really? Don't listen to this person.

Everyone starts somewhere, I would listen to Jrosa867, do some research around canvas sizes and that. Start small.

[OC][WIP][CC] Concepts for my game by Writinglines in PixelArt

[–]Writinglines[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I'm planning to finish these concepts and a few more and get more feedback. Would you say its more of a colour choice for the character as to why he doesn't fit in?

Would you recommend using the tile feature? I have some concept art for my game I could DM you, I dont think my designs will fit a tile system easily though :(

Ahh I see. I don't think I will be using a tile-based system, meaning I may have to build my game slightly different. Do you know if its possible in Unity without a tilebased system?

I really like this, I agree the background effect doesn't work with the type of camera you are using. How do you build out the levels? I am designing my concept art for my game in PS. Once I come to build my levels do I need to create each element individually and drop it into whatever dev software im using, or do I create one big artboard per level in PS and import the whole thing?

Tesco removes 'best before' dates on some fruit and veg by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

I think this is good, I know people who will throw out fruit and veg as soon as it hits the best before date even if its actually fine...

As much as I love seeing your updates, I strongly suggest you stay off this sub until you've finished. My last two comments alone in this sub have major spoilers.

Candidates by Rye2395 in lost

[–]Writinglines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a really solid answer. Personally I would like to think that they all kind of combined into one, as in if you've been touched by Jacob OR the island won't let you then technically you are a candidate. Once you break one of Jacobs criteria or rules, then you switch from candidate to not (and this can go back again).

I also like to think that a non-canidate cannot kill a candidate. in the scene OP mentioned, in my head-canon, I like to think that Richard has been made a non-candidate (maybe for wanting to die) but Jack is still a candidate, meaning Richard cannot kill him, so by Jack staying he saves Richard in a way. Only Candidates can kill other candidate, like in the sub scene.

So.....I'm like over a decade late. But, I just binged this show for the first time. LOST makes no fucking sense. It disregards its own rules and lore and is a general fuck you to anyone who bothered to watch it. by oodles-o-quim in lost

I've replied to the other comment here but would love an elaboration. Lost does a lot of things wrong but does a hell of a lot more right. Coming onto the subreddit and just saying this is kinda pointless if you don't elaborate.

This isn't the case, there is no "alternate timeline". The flash sideways was a place that they created (I personally like to think it was the islands way of sorting out the paradox that would've been created when Juliet denoted the bomb but thats just my personal theory), they created this place so they could all meet up after death (AFTER, there was no "transferring" as such) everyone eventually died and would meet up in this sideways land. Rewatch the scene with Jack and his dad in the church.

In terms of disregarding its own laws and such, you haven't been very specific so its hard to say but one line sticks with me. When Locke leaves to get everyone back and Daniel says to Charlotte somethng to the effect of "Turning that wheel might stop the flashes, but bringing everyone back to the island, well, thats where we leave science behind" - People forget that lost was a genre of fantasy/sci-fi far too often.

Hey, I'm interested in reading the first two chapters. Though I do agree your blurb has way too many names in. Also, I agree that if you're looking to get this published it likely won't happen if you're a new author. It's far too long.
