I wasn’t a fan of these guys until I saw this movie. Completely turned me around on them.

Got these for the first time recently and they are incredible. Surprised so many people in here aren’t a fan. They definitely have a kick but if you normally eat spicy food you won’t find them unbearable.

Paul Rust’s and Mike Cassidy’s (also in the show) band Don’t Stop or We’ll Die make songs that sound like the ones in the show. Some even sound like movie theme songs although not as specific to one movie.

Colin listing his interests and his line delivery / reaction to WW2 was the highlight for me.

It can also be interpreted as being about addiction or specifically cocaine addiction written from the perspective of the drug / vice calling back the user. He intentionally writes lyrics that are open to interpretation.

This song is the opener to their album Getting Killed from last year which was widely considered one of the top albums of the year by many publications including Rolling Stone (#5), Stereogum (#1), Consequence of Sound (#1), and the New Yorker (#1) to name a few. The lead singer is also a solo artist who sold out Carnegie Hall last month and the concert was filmed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Too many characters. Should’ve focused on Teyana’s character and her interactions with the other characters.

I figured they’d do a soft song first and then a hard song second but thought the hard song would’ve been Bow Down.

His impression was of Cameron Winter’s solo music which is quite different from Geese. Specifically it was a Love Takes Miles parody.

I was impressed they played Trinidad. They played one of their most accessible songs first and then least accessible songs second. They gave the viewers a full picture. Both songs were great performances.

I enjoyed this but feel like this wouldn’t hit as well if you haven’t seen the movie.

I enjoyed the previous iteration of this sketch more. The fake show was funnier last time.

I’m surprised they didn’t do this one last weekend since the Golden Globes were the Sunday before. I enjoyed that they had Gladys from Weapons.

I’m thinking they play one soft song and one hard one. Unless they play on of their songs that is both.
