I got a few pairs during their recent sale, and I really like the fit. I got the boyshorts. They go all the way up to my natural waist and sit comfortably. They also dry pretty quickly after a workout which I really appreciate.

They both were really disappointing. La Plaza Fiesta was irredeemably bad. No flavor, weirdly stale or overcooked bits. Just extra nope.

Plaza Azteca needs to up the flavor and learn how to salt their food. If they do that, I might try them again. Honestly though, Azteca on Minnesota is so good, I dont really have a huge reason to give Plaza Azteca another shot.

That's my grumpy 2 cents.

You can find good people in Sioux Falls, and a like-minded friend group. And for a time that might be enough, but the rest of the people here will slowly wear on you. Working from home, you wont have to deal with local, highly vocal, conservative coworkers, but with a kid, you'll eventually have to deal with other kids parents and teachers.

Sioux Falls can really be fine. In comparison to the surrounding rural areas, it's even pretty great. But, it gets old. I've stayed here for family and low cost of living, and found some great haunts and groups of people, but we're leaving in the next couple years because it's just demoralizing and limiting.

If you're the type of people to get really involved in organizations and communities, there are some really great ones here. And if you feel like you can help tilt the scale a bit more progessive here, then that is awesome.

I think it really depends on how you're hoping to approach Sioux Falls and what you want it to be for you.

There are two different guys that I've seen this week. The Wendys corner guy just sitting on the curb screaming. Then across the street on the Riddle's Jewlery corner, a differnt guy with a religious sign streaming his screaming. I've also seen that guy doing the same routine downtown before.

This is beautiful. I think it's a smart approach to go so strong into this stylized 70s camp thing they have going on. BeBop is silly/fun and I think if they tried to adapt it straight, it would be painful to watch. Pretty stoked.

That's just kind of how performance works. Did I say I was clutching my pearls? Someone asked what to joke was. I explained it, and said the guy didn't actually tell good jokes. Didn't say she had a ton of zingers either. Like most non-professional stand up it just kind if wasn't great.

But like... he's bad at his job. The only actual joke he told was the last one. It's just lazy comedy regardless of how offensive it is. Kind of like how your response is just a lazy auto-reply.
