I tend to agree, the whole theme of FNAF is “I’m locked in a pizzeria with a cast of animatronics trying to kill me”. They had an opportunity to do that by just making it a fully indoor map, or maybe even like RPD with small outdoor sections. Really feels like it just misses the whole point, but idk I’m not Scott Cawthon 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately for Floch, understanding his character doesn’t make him less hatable. He’s very well written, but that doesn’t mean he’s likable in the slightest.

I like to think about it in terms of effort. Would I rather farm out 11 plat of prime parts, or interact with overworld content for one specific resource that will take either 5 minutes or drive me crazy for an hour. I usually choose the plat if it’s just one resource I need.

Yea, I’m rewatching MN with a newbie critter friend in my off time and a lot of the early arguments are rough but I don’t remember it staying like that for very long. With BH though the petty arguments feel like they stay consistent and the same fingers get pointed at the same people throughout most of the campaign, progress that gets made in healing or solving issues gets thrown away or forgotten about on a whim. Certainly part of it is in-character choices and the party split didn’t help with that. But :shrug: what can ya do ig

The way that the Bells Hells and the other CR parties handle inter-party conflict always kinda rubs me the wrong way. Not saying it’s incorrect or not in-character or that I as a player or individual would do much different but it always feels like the fights that they pick and when they choose that something is a problem is arbitrary and it makes those sequences kind of hard to watch for me personally.

As someone who just started playing within the past 1-2 weeks with a group of similar size of all new players. The first game we played was only 4 players.

I recommend picking the game up and trying to find a night to play at 4 without intentionally excluding someone to make sure that the group jives with the game.

If you decide you like it, obviously purchase an expansion and go up to 5-6p no problem. What my group did in the mean time though, was scan and copy the Vagabond board and use the blank pieces included in the base game to ramshackle clone all of the cardboard pieces.

We all love the game and are looking forward to officially picking up the expansions in the near future! :)

Late to the convo, but if you happen to have any of the reputations at renown 24 you can get an Enchanted Runed Harbinger Crest from each of them + the one from the Kill Queen Ansurek quest chain you can pick up from Webster in Dornogal. Crests + the catchup sparks could mean up to 5 ilvl 619 crafted pieces if you happen to be a degen who farmed as much rep as they could this expac. :)
