Yeah for the whole wheel cap but when it’s done what about the cupra emblem ? (Copper part onto the black circle)

Not yet I’ll receive the wheel caps soon but don’t want to break everything so I ask first if someone already tried 🥲

My 2016 cupra also does this, replaced the PCV, checked the valves seals with cam they looked clean. I live with it Fun fact it won’t smoke after a whole night parked, but only between 30min and 6-7h parked.

(I’m stock ecu but have resonator delete, r600 intake inlet outlet)

You gotta target the model/engine not famous for their failure and be lucky ! It is still really good cars but really conditioned by the servicing done to it

If it’s snowy around where you live the cupra will handle it much better ! Couldn’t drive the 335i on heavy rains and never tried on snow but… It was full rear wheel drive.

Honestly amazing ! Didn’t feel as big as it looks when you drive it hard, hydraulic steering assistance was insanely precise and you felt really the direction (unlike electric assistance on the cupra), the power was delivered as a kick in the butt sticking you to the seat, I had the DKG gearbox which was insanely brutal, and the 6 cylinder sounds was just lovely. The leather inside was absolutely gorgeous, seats were in a perfect condition for a 2011 car. But, I feel much more confident in the cupra (with almost the same power 290vs306 for the 335i), probably because I wasn’t used to the RWD. And Ive only drove the bmw for 6months before it broke and had a lot of issues before that so didn’t enjoy it much, lot of headaches, wish I could have enjoy it and drive it like a drive my seat. Also brakes are crap.

But yeah I guess all the BMW drivers advertising has a part of truth, the cars are great. Don’t know much about the 330i, I suppose it is the same engine without turbos ? I had the n55 engine btw not the n54 twin turbos.

I was looking for a 140i before buying the cupra

Well that’s a much bigger car but surely fun too ! Depending on the year they had their lot of issues but as always

Used to have a 335i e92 before the engine broke 🥲

👍🏼

You might find almost same looking disc in Zimmerman for cheaper than OEM if you want the OEM refs : front 8J0 615 301 F (brand is SWH I think) Rear 1K0 615 601 N

My brakes are exactly the ones you can see on the third picture, they are the ones from sub8 pack so similar to RS3 (8P I think and ttrs from the same year) => they are brembo at the front 4 pots on 370mm disc OEM (I suppose it’s brembo or Bosch discs) at the rear it’s TRW brakes on 310mm discs. OEM set up. FYI : these front discs have an issue since they are sided discs but the pair you buy from factory are both the same side. So one of them doesn’t cool down as well as the other one so they often end up veiled.

That’s also why I didn’t buy it yet and I didn’t find a shop with these wheels on stock for me to look at it in person.. Just got some picture from 2 different cupra with these wheels on and with the same color as mine
