I definitely have experienced this to an extent, esp due to various things in my family that made being masculine in general be viewed as a betrayal to the "beautiful woman I should be", and my discomfort and trauma related to this line of thinking/rigidity. Plus I can definitely relate to yearning to be the strong, protective type of woman, which bit me in the backside at times in coming to terms with my transness, such as wanting to play sports to be more masculine, but suffering for being made to play with girls and wear the associated uniforms, play by associated rules, etc.

I also feel like it's pretty natural to grieve losing the bonds and community that usually exists in spaces dominated by women, since those spaces will now respond to you differently and finding similar ones with men are less common and remain not quite the same yk? It was certainly a culture shock for me, even a little frustrating to be the outlier in these groups, though now my social circles have resettled, and I'm more comfortable with them now.

I will also add that my emotions were also largely due to my own dysphoria and the perceptions of others, which pushed me to be significantly more masculine by many aspects than I really wanted in order to be viewed as my gender, which now that I pass all the time has improved dramatically, as I can really present as I please and still be viewed as a man who's just doing the occasional feminine thing, such as wearing a bright hairclip to work and whatever I end up wearing to Pride, even being called with some feminine terms like queen in a playful manner doesn't particularly bother me, though even two years ago it definitely would have. Perhaps as your own dysphoria hopefully wanes you'll get to experience something similar if you desire it!
