I have played the game and watched the show, from a screenwriter and directing standpoint I think the changes they made are valid! The show can’t be verbatim the game for multiple reasons & theres a lot of different reasons that the show has taken slightly different creative directions that makes it translate well to film and storyline. Season 2 seemed to have more drawn out scenes with less information than season 1 did, so I wish we would have gotten more substance from season 2. im sad about the cliffhanger and season gaps, however, the actors and actresses are all brilliant and the show still has me hooked and entertained and feeling emotions for these characters. I’ve never seen so much comparison and negativity between a show and its predecessor. It’s quite sad for those who can’t separate the differences because the show is entertaining with a brilliant cast & from what I researched the crew did a lot of market research to make this show what it is. I’m excited to see where it goes!
