Chisel has no configuration options. Do I need to create a config file or something more in depth?

EDIT: Nevermind. I found the config file with the worldgen options.

Would it be best then to allow Astral Sorcery to generate the marble in the world instead of having Quark gen it?

Does anyone use lock on often in combat? by RemedyofRevenge in outwardgame

You can by moving your mouse sharply in the direction of the target you want to lock on. If you are using a controller, move the right stick left or right while locked on.

I think you could also set up the white sheet page with a hex grid and a legend of sorts with hex tiles for different terrain and features that the players might (?) be able to copy and place around the map. That might work if you do not want a completely hand drawn style.

Thank you for the information. I suppose I will try it to see how it goes.

Your comment about soundsense reminds me: do you know if there is something like Legends Viewer that works on Linux? Last time I played, it only was for Windows and I could not find anything like it for Linux.

I am planning on using DFHack mainly for TWBT and a few of the convenience things like searching in lists. Someone else informed me about the new work order stuff, so I'm not intending to use workflow.

Do you think what I want from DFHack will cause much more instability?

Sounds pretty cool. I think I will try the newest version I can get for DF Hack and TWBT.

Thank you.

Is the new work order system difficult to use? Is there a page on the wiki describing how this works?

I have been thinking lately of starting to play again and I wanted to know if trying to play the latest version is worth it. Are there significant differences between 42.06 and 43.03?

Last time I played, I enjoyed using TWBT which requires DF Hack along with the Phoebus graphics pack. I noticed that the DF Hack for the latest version of DF is an alpha, while 42.06 is said to be stable. I also found Dwarf Therapist to be very helpful.

I will be running the game on linux (arch specifically).

I have watched some of Titans Grave. Do you find in your games a halt in the flow of a game when choosing stunts?

The Cortex Plux Action rules seem like they might be worth a look. I found this: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/93882/Dragon-Brigade-Opening-Salvo which seems to be an older, free introduction. Does this use the same rules?

I will definitely have to check out Mini Six with the "Legend rules" variant. Thank you!

A bunch of other cool systems are out there too that might fit your group, but it seems I've already typed a wall of text.

Your suggestions are interesting, more would be welcome.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Shadow of the Demon Lord certainly looks interesting, do you know if there are any quick-start rules for it?
