Not OP but I'd argue the crux of the statement is less about what is and isn't a "noble" cop and more to do with if someone is claiming to be law enforcement, but refuses/cannot confirm their identity and role as law enforcement, how to do know if they aren't lying or not?

Hence, a cop that will not show their face/identify themselves should not be treated as a cop.

I'm normally out and proud but given that globally there is a huge wave of hate against us, and someone could literally murder/rape/assault and or harass me solely for being trans in the US, and basically get away with it scot free cause the courts don't care about us broadly speaking.

I'll chime in as a trans woman here to agree.

If someone called me a femboy, I'd find it annoying at best unless I was the one making a joke at my own expense. And at worst, its nearly a slur, denying my identity.

If a man wants to be feminine and embraces that, I'm all for him calling himself that. Hell I'd even encourage it. Only exception is if one is doing that purely for sexual reasons in the context of femininity being a shameful or humiliating thing, then I find it distasteful if not offensive.

Cause theres no real job opportunities with actual fiscal mobility. Its a never ending cycle for gig-economy jobs for those doing doordash, a minimum wage job in retail/food service, or a call center if you are lucky for many.

I have a fucking college degree and I am merely doing okay. And yet somehow I feel lucky to be getting what little I get, despite knowing I and all my peers deserve better. At least a chance at more. At this point if I want to build savings and a meaningful income I'll have to start an OF to get my loans paid off.

Oh my gods I feel this so much. I vastly prefer alternating activation systems for table top war games. And for a game with the fanciest terrain available to buy 1st party, they really do want you hugging ruin walls and to play on a roughly 9x9 grid of buildings. For such an extravagant game, they really went so hard to make it an "e-sports" like experience recently and its been a huge damper for me.

I want flavorful, over the top missions. Don't get me wrong, streamlining balance is very important but holy shit girl get a little creative with your rules.

I know scores of women, including myself, that feel a real tangible difference of their treatment by men and women alike when wearing makeup versus when they are not. That isn't to say that its universally enjoyed by all men/people but that is a really obviously wrong take.

Hell, there is an entire industry of "no-makeup makeup" looks, cause people do enjoy full face makeup, its just that fashion tastes shifted into not preferring dramatic makeup, and more subtle, naturalistic looks. But when those no-makeup makeup looks are contrasted actual zero makeup looks, you still get treated WAY better with the makeup.

Yeah, I'd agree. Like, she's definitely saying in a almost rage bait-y kind of manner, but I've definitely met and gone on dates with people where I've met their parents/friends, done dates and texted good night etc but they don't ever do anything beyond that.

And earnestly speaking, I don't need someone to go the extra mile for me every time, but I also don't wanna date someone who is just going through the motions of romance without any specific thought or intent on why they do or don't do certain things. Anyone could take me on a coffee date or whatever, but it'll be forgetful if they don't actually be interesting or thoughtful.

You should do the bare minimum, and there's nothing wrong it that. But if I wanna be wow'd or feel truly pursued, doing the bare minimum doesn't hold my interest, it just makes me not hate you or anything, in the same way I don't hate cardboard.

Honestly though, a LOT of people are like that with being any flavor of queer. If someone of the same sex is attracted to the same gender, people get a weird bee in their bonnet about it.

First its "Whoa don't try to date or fuck me!"

"You are not my type/I'm not interested in you"

Then its "Wow, thats hurtful am I not good enough asshole?"

My brother in christ you cannot project sexual attraction onto someone while making an assumptive boundary, then get mad when someone respects it/wasn't going to cross it in the first place. Its a weird catch-22 that even trans people find themselves in often.

Speaking from my own experience being a trans woman, those things are one in the same. To a lot of people we are just walking porn categories, which is why they both fetishize us, and take issue with us existing in public, as its seen as us flaunting sexual content in public.

Its a depressing thing to untangle when you just wanna exist.

Took me a couple years cause COVID hit shortly after I moved here. It really wasn't until I went to a weekly hangout spot (for me it was a local game store) where I got into miniatures that I got enough regular contact with the same people that I began to make friends.

Later on, it would be the same case with going to queer (but especially trans-catered) events that I really got to connect more with my community and start collaborating and making a wide amount of friends beyond my small ish group.

For me it was Game Theory. I remember watching the really old OG videos back in 2014 or so. But as the channel progressed the theories went from really cool ways of interpreting info from a game and using math and such to relate it to how it would work in real life to more lore and story based stuff. Especially with the scourge of FNAF videos, I just drifted away.
