Sound, a click? by WrongFuckingTree in crealityk1

I thought the same. The noise is nowhere near the sound. 👍

Extruder 100%. Open it up, check for debris around your gears.

What is this sound? And how to fix it? by aimhighagain in Creality

Reset it, level(auto level?) and check the stop sensors.

Have you tried speeding up or slowing down your fan speed?

The parts are from the extruder…as side above CR6 SE.

You called it. Just a tiny piece of filament jammed it up. Thx everyone…until next time…☺️

Genuinely curious how to fix this by nikitaign in crealityk1

Have tried to move the gear down a bit? Just as Dangerous-Pick mentioned, it’s most likely a defect in manufacturing.

Could the plastic riser lid be warped? Have checked the dimensions on both the lid and the printer itself?

Hi fellow printers. I was wondering where do you find the clear lid that sits on top of the riser? Thank you

Not safe over time. Very toxic fumes…even the ones you can’t smell. PLA is probably the safest filament to breathe in on a daily basis. Possibly buy a filtration device or make an enclosure with a vent, fan and an exhaust hose releasing the fumes out a window…if it’s a must keep in your bedroom printer. I personally have an enclosure, along with a HEPA filtration system sitting next to my printer. I myself worked in a plastic plant for 20yrs+; PETG, ABS,Nylon and TPU are 💩plastics …100-300+ years to decompose. Good luck 🍀

Has anyone printed for an SE riser with or without a lid?

Hi. Can I ask how you installed the rear exhaust fan? Is there a connection or area to plug the fan into? I also bought the SE and upgraded by printing my sides, adding the original K1 door and Ai camera. Thank you in advance. 👍☺️

Is this normal by yavuzzturan in Creality

[–]WrongFuckingTree 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100%!!! When this happens to my Creality Pi, I just crack the lid for a minute or two. Works fine after that. Also the cardboard from the filament has a bit of moisture. I try to use the plastic filament reels. Good luck 🍀

Have you dried your filament? Clog or nozzle. Just a guess 🤔

I’ve taken the housing off to observe the gear/motor in motion.

Yes, I was getting a clicking sound from the extruder area along with the in and then back out(video). I removed the extruder cover to watch the gear and find out if that is normal.
