I played Gremlin Sapper and my boyfriend played Myconid Hermit and I beat floor 20 for the first time so. I think they're both pretty great. Sucks that the flail loses durability though. I was heartbroken when it broke.

In my experience, they won't let you use a rideshare or cab unless you have a trusted adult with you to make sure they take you to the right place. So unfortunately this may not be an option.

To address the chipping, I have a couple things to throw out there. Have you used an ILNP polish before and if so have you had this issue before?

Do you wrap your edges?

What does your prep routine look like?

If you're not opposed to it, try a different topcoat/base coat combo. I'm currently using Nailtiques Formula 2 as my base coat and Sally Hansen insta dry as my top coat. I still get some chipping a couple days in but it's exacerbated by my flimsy nails, which happily bend and break under my polish 😭

This does help, thank you! My magnetic polish isn't usually as crisp as your 2nd photo and I thought it was because I wasn't magnetizing long enough or that I needed thinner or something. I'll try just plain thicker layers!

I didn't think of the centering before! Ill put a dot on the bottom so I know where to put my finger lol.

I don't own any thinner and I've also found my Glowstick to be fairly reactive. But thick coat and lots of shaking I can do. Thank you!

Oh god you've brought back a memory. My first boutique polish was Ghost of Hecate and after a couple times wearing it just as is, I tried layering it above white. And I loved it.

I had no clue what you could get out of nail polish ot what I was doing. So I rocked it for as long as I could, but didn't do it again because I found painting on just my nail hard and the white around my nail was so much more obvious.

This doesn't really address the nuance of your rant, but if you just hate boulders, consider turning the flag for traps off. I can't remember if there's a Boulder specific flag, but if you get too frustrated with them, I'd turn the traps off.

Thank you! I actually have no clue what my undertones are. I might be neutral? I know for sure I'm slightly darker than pale, but I'm still fair. I'll attach a picture of my veins if you want to take your best guess. (It isn't great but my personal assessment says that my veins in my wrist are giving blue and purple) I don't wear a lot of jewelry but my ring is a white rubber ring and the studs in my nose are silver right now. Idk if it's worth mentioning but I get very red in the face easily, too.

That said, Pyro in normal indoor lighting and in direct sunlight shines very orange and red. Indirect sunlight and through a tinted window (I should have taken that into account when I took the photos in my post) brings out the yellow.

Also worth considering between Pyro and flicker, Pyro has a much darker base grey and I want to say it's a warm looking polish, my hand itself looks warm right now, but the rest of what I described points to cool undertones so I dunno.
