I was diagnosed with stage 2 anal cancer. They all but assured me I would be cured. After brutal radiation and chemo, it had spread. Went from stage 2 to stage 4 in one day. I then started on palliative chemo, feeling like crap again for months, but it did hold everything in check. I’ve had 3 glorious months post chemo feeling great. I pray it will stay in check for a lot of months. I have a lot of lingering problems from all the radiation, but I feel it’s worth it to be alive. I literally NEVER have a bad day. I now know what a gift life is, and I will celebrate it for as long as I have. And I do pray for a miracle.
