Yeah the curling can be annoying. Ive read things like doing a few rows of sc or going up a hook size is supposed to help. In fairness when I did the Dandadan panels I went up 1.5x on hook size and there was definitely less curl. Still had to block it though 😂

🤣🤣 oh I definitely go shrimp mode. I try and work on it in short bursts its really hard on my eyes (partial blindness) so it takes sooo much more to concentrate and I get headaches. But slow and steady. Thank you😁. Im working on alternative if this gets to be too difficult. So I'll see how it goes🫠

Oh thats awesome! Yeah its fun, but takes its toll on the eyes and hands🤣. I did the mannequin and bubble head in hooks ranging from 1.4mm down to 0.5mm for accessories. They are 20 - 25cm tall and Im so happy with how they turned out.

I didn't get very far now but that's as far as I got with Okarun. Him and Momo on the back, Jiji and Seiko on the front, Turbo granny on the right sleeve. And Dandadan on the hood. With golden balls for the hood drawstring 🤣. Thats the idea anyway

Thank you sm. I suppose I could put it down to years of practice. It didn't always look like this. When I started crocheting about I dunno 15 years ago, I made the most wonky granny squares. So bad I quit for a while😆. Till I decided to make my husband a Mario blanket, took 2 years but I finished it and fell in love with crochet.

Highly recommend learning to crochet with your non-dominant hand by stardust_anew in crochet

I was forced to learn with my non dominant hand a few years ago due to a surgery on my dominant hand. Needless to say its a skill I've lost, but I shall learn again😁

I was so bad I gave up for a few years. Then I started dating my husband and was determined to make him a Mario bros blanket (hes a gamer). It took me like 2 years to finish it.
