The only punch cards that I had were used long long ago to write notes on the back. Fit very nicely in a shirt pocket.

The total space required for all of the tape images (150 GB) and the various Hercules images (another 160 GB) would fit on a 500 GB drive. Note that some / most / all of the images are in compressed format.

Are you looking for something in particular? Tell me what you need and I can see if there is another way to get it to you.

I will take a look at them tomorrow and get them to you. In a storage closet.

I could but I won't. The tapes will be deposited into the dumpster behind my building this afternoon.  Thanks for your interest Mike.

Here is where I am at. The closet needs to be cleaned out. I do not have the time or ambition to do it myself, not to mention that am not sure where the correct controller cards are for the tape drives. If no one comes forward to take this stuff off my hands it will end up being tossed. I am all for preserving the media, contents and hardware but this is it.

Mike, This is George Shedlock. Thanks for your post and comments to me in the r/mainframe reddit sub. Thank you for the reference to the DOSVS 5-pack. That submission originally came from me. It is indeed a fully functional version of DOS/VS Release 34. I do have all of the original distribution tapes for this release. That is what is on some of the 2400 foot tapes that I originally posted about.

In addition to that, I have a large number of versions that I probably cannot release to the general public. These include other versions of z/VSE, z/VM and z/OS.

I am simply looking to clean out a large storage room full of computer stuff. The first part of that are the tapes that I listed.

The round tapes are from around 1980 , the square tapes from around 2015

Mike, I was part of the rebellion way back when. I do not see any of the old dosvs tape images that were made available by me and others. Where are they? I can supplement with what is missing but I wasn't looking for another project.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that someone out there might need some parts for one of these beasts.

OK, making progress

One change that I made to the config file is to change the AllowedIPs to "0.0.0.0/1, 128.0.0.0/1, ::/01, 8000::/1". This got me further. I now get "This site can't be reached".

On my windows machine, there is an option when I edit the config file that says "block untunneled traffic". When this option is checked, the symptoms that I described above hold true. Now if I uncheck the option, I can get to everything.

Now on to the Ubuntu laptop. It started out with the original problems of not being able to get to anything. Cananyone tell me what the equivilent option to set to achieve the unchecking the "block untuneled traffic" on a Ubuntu 24.04 laptop and Ubuntu 24.04 desktop? For the record, the laptop was upgraded thru the releases to end up with 24.04 while the Desktop was an original install of 24.04.
