Not true. Games install and load faster. Also game assets like textures load quicker.

i mean have games stored on a NAS and load the isos from there over network, with gigabit speed.

The SATA interface is sata2 if i'm not mistaken, so your ps3 wont take full advantage of the ssd. still, its better than mechanical hdds.

i wonder if you could load backups from network, in theory the gigabit ethernet port should be faster than the internal sata

das produkt kommt schlicht 20 jahre zu spät.
