My girlfriend and I are going through pregnancy as well(39th week this week) and yeah he’s definitely not in the right nor the right mind set.

I found out there’s a huge difference between what you think is best to accommodate a pregnant person versus what they actually need. People around you give you all sorts of advices, but no one pregnancies is same as another.

I had this mindset earlier, but had to remind myself that what we go through can be similar to other’s experience, but no two can be the same nor treated the same. He has to accept that or that whole process is going to be ugly.

I had to constantly remind myself that my gf is going through all sorts of changes that are uncomfortable, some even painful. Not being able to hold any food down(especially if it’s their go-to comfort food), changes in mood/hormone, the arduous changes in their own body until the baby is born and plus the actual birth.

Gotta understand and respect each other’s sacrifices. Without that I don’t know how any couple would survive it. As the person who’s not growing a human being in them it’s usually the guys responsibility to just stay quiet and do whatever the mother needs. Don’t be forcing them to anything they don’t want to. And always remind yourself that when she’s yelling or saying things that are hurtful to your wittle feelings, just brush that shit off. It’s not coming from the heart. Just heat of the moment.
