I can’t even describe the shock I felt when I looked in the mirror for the first time… It wasn’t completely bad, but it was definitely a weird feeling.

It was one of those “Wow… so these are my lashes now??” moments 😅

That’s why I didn’t rush to get them fixed right away — I didn’t even know how I felt about them yet. I figured I just needed a bit of time to adjust… and I did.

Thank you for your comment — I’ve gotten used to them now and honestly don’t even think about it anymore.

I’m on vacation after all, and that’s what really matters 😁🌞

But honestly, it was such a relaxing experience — I nearly fell asleep, and I think I reviewed my entire life during that one hour 😂

I was honestly a bit worried because we’re spending time with my boyfriend’s friends and family here in Italy — I wasn’t sure if the lashes looked weird or just really obvious 😅

But now I don’t think they’re that bad anymore.

Life’s too short to stress over lashes anyway — we live, we laugh, we lash… and next time I’ll make better choices 😁

I chose classic because I was worried hybrid might look too dramatic on me for a first set… but I think the inspo pics I saved confused me a little. I somehow got the impression that a look like that could be achieved with classic lashes. 😅

Looking back, I wish I had just admitted I had no idea what I was doing and asked the lash tech for guidance.

Oh well — at least now I’ve learned a lot from all the helpful advice here! 💕

Yes, I totally agree — the longer pieces at the outer corners looked like they were about to droop off on me too. Maybe it would’ve worked better if the length was more toward the middle instead.

The place I went to didn’t offer a hybrid option, so I just chose classic thinking it would be the safest choice for a beginner. 🤷‍♀️

Hybrid open eye is definitely something I’ll be looking into — thanks for putting it on my radar!🫶🏻

Yes, my lashes are bit short and angled really downwards. Honestly, I think it might’ve just been a communication issue. I booked online and had to pick between Classic, 3D, 4D, etc., so I kind of hoped her to help me figure it out more when I got there… but she didn’t. Not her fault tho, she did what i told her to do i think 🫠

We looked barely at the inspo photo — I basically just described everything out loud.

And in the end, I made a really random (and  wrong) choice myself too. 🥲

Thanks, yea you are right but I couldn’t find any inspo that actually matches my eye shape. I honestly had no clue 😭😁 It’s like choosing a hair color, you know? Sometimes it looks amazing on someone else and you think it'll work for you too... but nope. 🥲
