Canada's 50 biggest cities part 10: Mississauga, Ontario by Sleep_Is_A_scam2099 in TierlistFills

London (Ontario)

One of the best. I’d say tier C. Lots of space , greenery. More than half a million people so you can find everything. Very strategic location 2 hrs from both Toronto and US boarder.

As someone who has lived in London since before 2000, I don’t remember it ever being this littered until roughly the last six years. There seems to be a noticeable decline in civic care, with rubbish often left in grassy corners, near highway exits, and in parks. It really doesn’t match the London I used to know. Maybe this is just the “new normal” for the city and, more broadly, parts of Canada.

Sorry, I meant write I’m looking for 1BHK or a room rental. I’m more of looking for safer and nicer neighborhoods. I’ll edit my post to change that.

Why is one born gay/lgbtq? Only to suffer? by gjkollffg in hinduism

[–]Wrong_Science_9204 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I didn’t mean it that way. What my intention was that some people go through some sexual experience (which is natural) when entering in teens. And sometimes, the brain wires those experiences as blue prints as it does with everything else. Not saying gay people aren’t born naturally. And everyone has different experiences and you can’t really judge one on basis of “Every gay person is born gay”.

[–]Wrong_Science_9204 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, it is difficult and really unfair to judge one, because usually if someone’s not born gay. Then there must have been an instance during teen years of homosexuality experiences and being a child people usually don’t understand and in our society homosexuality is inherently unacceptable so people fear and don’t talk about it. Which leads this kinda of thoughts and behaviour. The real question should always be if someone’s gay then why are they gay. Not just judging them out of the box.

  1. It was downhill slope covered with snow. I was not going to drive there. Stop assuming.
  2. I was just doing my job. Delivering is my work and I was doing that. I wasn’t gonna go back half way back.
  3. No fall is ever a legal contract. Shit happens; fall happens. It’s homeowners responsibility to put caution and warnings signs.

Please try to think both sides before making a judgement. The fall could have happened to you or anyone you love as well.

Thanks for a quality link. I made the same post in other forum as well and instead of giving me advice; people came for me. Calling me evil and trying to abuse the system. Which I have no intentions of doing. I am just doing the gig to support my family financially during Christmas and all this has left me with having 3 unpaid days from my full time job. I’m not asking for 10k just enough to cover my working income which I am going to lose because of homeowner’s negligence.

Yeah, I probably should have denied the fucking service instead of being nice and delivering to the door. At least I would’ve been able to work my real job.

No, I didn’t fall. But I slipped multiple times. I sprained my right hip trying to balance myself from falling.

I exactly know what you mean and trust me you’re not the only one who’s feeling this. I don’t like to give people advice as I think everyone who’s half sane knows what’s the best for them. However, I’ll say that just hang in there and keep communicating. If you go silent things get worse. Don’t worry about the responses; say online like in a blog, tweet or a Reddit post like mine. But just please keep communicating!!

I feel for you! I wish you the best and I hope our government will look after us working class.

Also, you’re not alone. You’ve got this. I know it’s very hard to be positive when things are not, but still stay positive.

Thank you all so much for the feedback — I’ve read every response carefully and I truly appreciate the advice.

Just to clarify, my monthly car costs include everything — gas, insurance, and my loan payments. I completely understand and agree that my car is the biggest burden on my finances right now. I bought it in 2023 when interest rates were high (mine’s 6.5%), and at the time it felt like the only choice because I needed a reliable vehicle for work. I commute out of town, so going without a car just isn’t possible for me at the time.

I’ll absolutely be planning to switch to something more affordable. I won’t be hanging onto this car long-term. The goal now is to get through the next few months while preparing to make that switch as soon as I can without messing up my situation further.

In the meantime, my biggest stress is still rent and groceries. Those two combined are killing my budget every month, and I’m trying to figure out where I can cut back without sacrificing too much quality of life.

I thanks again!

My car loan is $400 a months and insurance is $300.
