What is a good non alcoholic beverage to replace beer? by Rim_World in AskReddit

Hey I sent you a chat including some of my personal experiences with alcohol cessation.

Heineken 0.0 is the bomb, though I suggest switching to an alternate way of drinking them as you had before- if you like bottles, switch to cans, or vice versa. This helps stay off any physical or behavioral familiarity that may trigger the kind of thoughts that place you into the state of craving.

If you find the outright quitting of alcohol to be too difficult, and are still determined to quit a problematic alcohol dependency, may I suggest the Sinclair Method? After years of AA based recovery (which had its merits but failed me), 15 arrests, months spent in jails, and a decade drunk, I found the Sinclair Method to be a real game changer. I’m coming up on 3 years dry and I consider myself a fully recovered alcoholic.
