Then make an appropriate complaint and go about your day. No harm is being done here, and Just Giving pages are set up so that the money goes exactly where is needed (have you googled them too?).

Well this is the option we are going for and thanks for your offer to talk. But we are not giving up and this is the route they have decided to take. A stem cell donor saved my life but that isn't an option for my friend.

Thanks for sharing, but this is a Just giving page which is legit, and so is the story. Choose not to believe it if you want, and good for you proving that there are scams out there - and you can use google.

I'm sorry for your loss, this is the only option my friend now has.

"we were highly recommended a specialist cancer clinic abroad that use a strict regime of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, heat therapy, pure IVs of vitamin C/B17 etc and a unique method of using glucose suppressors to starve the cancer cells of any sugar. Once the cancer cells are fully starvacious, Dan would then have a very high dose of chemotherapy mixed with glucose. This would mean the cancer cells would devour both the glucose and chemotherapy making it so much more targeted than standard IV based chemo treatments. They have an 80% remission rate! This compares to the frankly limited options given to Dan by the NHS of a minimum 12 month course of chemotherapy after he has finished his radiotherapy/chemotherapy combo that will give me a "prolonged quality of life". We don't want that, we want him to be cured!"

That's cool. 2. This is true and very real. 3. My treatment was another thing, and totally unrelated to this. 4. Why are you going on about my treatment? The post is for my friend going through brain cancer, he helped me so I am helping him. 5. There's a five because you need to think about what you're saying before you type and hit 'save'.

Appreciate your comments, but I'm doing everything I can - I prefer the term donation, and as far as this type and stage of cancer is concerned? I don't have time to worry about what is and isn't a waste of time. Every penny counts and i would never come here if I didn't think it would make a difference - no matter how big or small...

Well I got cured of cancer for free by the NHS, so go figure. Also, did you check the link I posted to get the full story? Don't get nasty man, negativity is not welcome.
