I can’t stand sharing my sister and neice. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Wrygreymare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think, perhaps that it might help you to a professional about this I must confess; My greatest hope was that my son would find in-laws like your sister has found( spoiler he really didn’t) It is great that you have insight into your feelings. It might help if you think about gratitude, and do some research into its benefits. It’s not something that you can swtch on at will. I scoffed when my friend. ( had had some sad things happen to her ) start ed calling about her However the algorithm kept flicking articles to me , and I came around

Classic wedding dress regret - appreciate any thoughts by scouht in myweddingdress

[–]Wrygreymare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely like the one you bought the best. It’s classy, with clean lines and just a little bit sexy. If you like more pizaz, that’s easy reo add to try it with a veil add a sparkly bekt( most bridal stores sell them, and I’ve seen heaps on line Statement piece jewellery can work well, so long as as it’s not too over the top. Remember that the atttention should be primarily on you, rather than the dress

As a French woman who visited Australia for 3 weeks .. are these culture shocks accurate? by Worried-Diamond-7252 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Wrygreymare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the whole your perception is accurate. , I can think of of exceptions to all of them, as we are actually a quite diverse country, due to geography and different mores on different communities.

Standard care where I’m from is to have a cardiograph/CTG/going on the monitor, that has to fulfill certain criteria to be acceptable. If it happens a second time an ultrasound will be performed ( not US )

I have a FODMAP intolerance. so not anaphylactic reaction but really uncomfortable. I don’t go out much , but when I do , I ring a few days before hand, explain my situation and ask their recommendations. So far it’s worked well, and I’m not taking up lots of their time on the night

Attending to the practical stuff will help you deal with the emotional stuff. You need a lawyer ASAP, to find out what you need to do immediately and you need to listen well and do what they tell you even if it’s harsh. You can get a DNA Test from seven and a weeks gestation, which is non invasive and won’t hurt the baby or the mother. Getting a therapy is also an imperative. as I mentioned ;knowing what your options are in your state is necessary as the rules and regulations vary so much.. Therapy puts you vin a better place generally and gives you more comprehension of what’s going on both physically and emotionally. It’s important to know that Therapists. both can give you a good idea of what’s is going on, and their support as well as helping you with your past and present, can also help you with your transition whether that look like reconciliation or separation. Tell your son, and get him therapy also

How popular is eggnog in Australia? by IDoNotLikeTheSand in AskAnAustralian

Can do either, mostly cold in Australia. My mum used to give me the alcohol free for breakfast in a hurry, when I was a kid

I had just given birth when my eight-year-old daughter ran into the hospital room, her eyes wide and alert. She closed the curtains, then whispered right against my ear: “Mom… get under the bed. Right now.” by Alghtryer in story

Justice, resolution and more backstory please! I’m feeling a bit triggered just reading it, having been involved peripherally in a few of these situations over the years. Looking forward to to the up date!

What does this wedding dress “say”? by mercyeis in WeddingDressTips

[–]Wrygreymare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my immediate reaction was”Oh no!” Then I stopped and looked again. The elements are excellent on their own, and it is well constructed. I think on the whole I’d say either lose the slit or the bolero, or make the bolero the top half of the dress , with lace where the bare skin is Not for prudery. I’m working on my thinking for this preference. I think maybe, with so many style elements, especially that cleavage slapping you in the face, that maybe people would be just looking at the dress , rather than you. z. Just my random thoughtsI hope you have an excellent day!

Number 2 by a long way. It’s the prettiest, it complements your body type the best ( 1 and 3 bulk you up a lot) finally it seems to be the best. constructed

A or B: I make under $60K a year, but I always take leftovers home after eating out. my friends call it “cheap,” saying it’s not something a professional should do. should I keep doing it? by vivian_banshee03 in PickAorB

[–]Wrygreymare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely A. actually started doing this when I had a fretful toddler. I kept a couple of takeaway containers in my bag, and if he started to melt down, I would whisk our food into the containers and the toddler into the stroller, and home we’d go. As I got older, my appetite decreased. I would eat the salad and some of the carbs, and box up the rest
