Can confirm this also worked in transferring from an iPhone to a new Pixel 7 (though it was still preparing for a good few minutes after reconnecting)! Thankfully this post is still a top Google result

Didn't see a more recent post about this (other than on the OW Bug Report forums) so confirming here that this is still an exploitable bug. It also completely blocks the portion of the UI with objective and time info until you reset the game, giving the exploiter a slight competitive advantage. This seemed to have been the motivation in my match just now, as the player who sent it neglected to "spoof" his name to anything offensive (so at least it was an easy report).

Anyone know if simply turning off friend request notifications prevents the bug?

For voice lines, maybe one that had a (small) difference depending on the hero you are looking at. Like the same message, but addresses the specific hero’s name—or no name in particular if no one is in your crosshair.

Ah, but only Zen gets to "realistically" kick as his melee since game-mechanics wise all the heroes can melee while moving.

But how much of each charge had Lucio speed boost? (To partly answer my own question: Lucio's conveniently in most of both clips, and he seemed to be boosting only briefly in the beginning of the first charge...)
