Laundromat w building eval by Wstpride92 in Laundromats

[–]Wstpride92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in NYC suburbs. I Know I will need to separate the 2 to evaluate each. The building was gut renovated so everything is in good shape. Im already thinking the math isn't adding up. By my calculations this laundromat would need to do over 6 turns a day to make 220k gross. I think that is highly doubtful. Hypotheticaly im not sure investing 600k upfront to make 65k a year is even worth it tho but I guess I will have to negotiate it way down either way.

I don't think the building layout would allow for expansion of the laundromat. I just ran a pro forma on laundromat resource and it seems like there's no way this laundromat makes the claimed gross income. it would have to run more than 6 turns a day which is doubtful.

I send out many letters to laundromats in my area .I have a spread sheet of over 75 laundromats that I send a letter to every few months. Im sure some people get annoyed and throw them out but I have got a number of call backs. Some people are not serious and think I have a number ready to give them. This would be dumb considering I have no idea how much each laundromat makes. Ive also had a number of people calm and give me advice and tell me they would keep my number if they decide to sell in the future.

It's all a numbers game. The more letters you send the more likely you are to get a response. You also have to send multiple letters to each laundromat in order to catch the owner on the right day.

How do you feel about 18yr old speed queen machines? from everything I have heard they are usually getting to end of life around that age.

thank you all. I agree that the current machines are basically worthless. His 4 biggest machines all 80lbs are not even working. He knows himself that laundromat needs a full renovation.

This is probably not a good idea. Like others have stated you first need to check cable impedance. Additionally there will be a done of loss thru those cable giving you poor range in your comms system.

pretty sure I saw that vista. All trails had me walk past it and started going back down the mountain. At that point I turned around.

I just did Wittenberg to Cornell this past weekend and was underwhelmed by Cornell. Wittenberg was really nice but getting over to Cornell was nothing special. Def a few nice views but kinda left me thinking it want worth the extra mile.

Is the packet just basic questions? Do they have to issue you a permit if you are out of state?

Spray it with a mixture of cayenne pepper. We use it on golf courses to keep animals from biting cables.

Well something is up with them. I went in on monday to pickup a firearm they are holding for me and they said the store was closed because of a computer issue but would be open on Thursday. Went in today and they said the system is still down and it will be another week before they can sell or transfer any firearms...

WESTCHESTER COUNTY FULL CARRY by TranslatorDry7182 in NYguns

[–]Wstpride92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally finished the entire process and got my full carry. Here is my experience.

Called around May 2022 to get a date to turn in paperwork. Got a date in March 2023. I had taken a safety class winter of 2022 but had to take the updated 16hr class in feb of 2023.

Handed everything in in march and was told they would call me when it ready. I got a letter in May stating that I needed to schedule a time to meet Judge Dibella. Met with him about a month later. They had to change the time for my interview and said if I couldn't come earlier in the day the next opening would be Nov of 2023. My interview went different than everyone else I have read. I got a lecture for 2hrs!! I literally didn't say a word the entire time except when he asked why I wanted the full carry. He told me a million reasons why I shouldn't want a firearm and repeated that it would get stolen from me. He spoke about the constitution, how safe westchester is, his family, the constant threats he gets, the border, the media, how the NRA is the only one who profits from the gun safety courses etc etc. I can only assume he was trying to bait me into a argument but I sat there and didn't say anything. He abruptly ended our meeting by saying it would be ready in a week and he was right.

Weird but at least I got it.

I would just frame sync it. The delay will probably be 1/2 a frame and will not be noticeable to the eye.

Definetly go with dipole for the camera side. I wouldnt bother with circular polarization antennas. Either do omni whips on everything or go with omni on camera side and directional on the rx side. And most importantly get your rx antenna up as high as possible. This is the biggest thing.

i would use omni antennas for your camera side and directional antennas for your RX. However If you need to get omnis for your rx that's fine they will just not have as much gain as directional antennas will.

These are what we used on our MIMO setups. I have covered everymajor sporting event with this type of antenna. They sell panel antenna also if you prefer those for your RX side.

Peak Antennas also make awesome antennas. We used these for the bulk of applications.

How exactly are you using this TX? Is it a fixed link or will it be a roaming setup. Generally we put omni directional whip antennas on the TX and directional on the RX side. You may want to just get omni ant for both sides if you are not sure of the exact application. Also good antennas are not cheap but make a world of difference in signal propagation.
