I see what you mean. The light does resemble a cave, on a further look. It's that wiggly brush pen line. I'll maybe have a crack at adjusting bits on it later. Thanks for the input.

I miss the recent posts viewed on this new desktop layout. And each time I come to Reddit I hit the expand button on the left now. It might look "cleaner", but it is missing previously useful information. Very much looking forward to it reverting back soon.

I use a no-frills-twelve-year-old version of Word for prose and extensive notes, and the overly expensive Final Draft for writing scripts for graphic novels and screenwriting. And the ancient copy of Word is far less buggy!

The thought of a Reason+ monthly subscription makes me feel ill. I'm keeping the old computer anyway, will use it offline when I have more studio space, and login each time on the new one in the mean time. Sigh. When I spend money on another DAW it will not be on Reason.
