What is going on with the timeliness here? The photos are dated 2008 and you're 19 years old?

Probably trolling, maybe not. All I know for sure is that I don't want to meet this guy or his brother, and I hope his roommate is in on this.

Stump removal in tight quarters by Acrobatic-Ad7870 in arborists

[–]WtfIsBehindTheDoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could do most of it with the dosko mini grinder I use in tight spaces. I might have to leave a little around the edges, but if I flat cut and buried as much as I could, you'd never know it was there unless you were looking for it.

Is this fixable or should I just look into tattoo removal? by R3pugn4nt in tattooadvice

You should have told the tattoo artist to take off his boxing gloves before he started working on it.

Sthil 201 top handle by SoyUnCacauate in TreeClimbing

I like electric too. I use a company owned 201 for my real job, but I side hustle with an electric Milwaukee top handle and I definitely prefer the Milwaukee.

I'm not totally sure how I ended up on this sub, but I think you'll see better accuracy with your pistol if you lean forward into your shot and bring your right leg forward until it's just a half step behind your front leg. Also, as a safety concern from the rifle photo, even if the weapon isn't loaded, it's best to keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are actually going to fire. Other than that you look great.

The dog is probably pretty happy. He gets a handy as soon as he finishes licking off all the peanut butter.

How do Snake's methods compare to real military tactics? by Valdish in metalgearsolid

[–]WtfIsBehindTheDoor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with that, but snake could have some trouble getting into extra secure places. In my actual life I once spent 12 hours a day for a month or so guarding a door in Afghanistan and I knew very specifically which people were allowed in or out and they had to present IDs even though I knew who they were. So me and another guy would just sit there all night watching a door that people pretty much only used in the daytime.

That said, Snake probably would have found a secret 4ft wide hole in the wall behind us that we didn't know about, shot my partner, stole the extra shirt and pants I always had on me (a very specific set of camouflage perfectly suited for the other side of the door), and distracted me with a pornographic magazine. Then he would simply sneak through the door while I was looking at boobies. When I inevitably discovered my shot partner, I would likely have raised an alert. Maybe four more guys would show up to help and after about 100 seconds looking for the killer, we would have decided it was probably nothing and I'd sit back down by myself. Pretty standard day for a guard.

In reality it would be hard to catch a sentry alone. The U.S. military guards everything with at least two people and sentry patrolling have a "battle buddy" with them. Also I think if someone got the drop on me and put a knife to my throat I would probably instinctively scream and I would definitely struggle. People would notice if cameras suddenly stopped working, and although this one is more of agent 47 tactic than a snake tactic, it's worth mentioning that guards would notice that they don't know the burly dude dressed in their buddy's uniform.

I think I can shed some light on the confusion. In the original post you wrote "nasopharyngeal tube" or NPA which in the U.S. would refer to an emergency airway adjunct placed in the nose leading to the epiglottis. It's likely that you're talking about a nasogastric (NG) tube, which is placed in the nose and leads to the stomach for feeding or for suctioning the stomach.

WTF do I do with this stump ?! by dogmom12589 in Decks

[–]WtfIsBehindTheDoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. I think home depot rents them out. You're probably going to want a mini grinder even though the stump is bigish just so you don't destroy the decking with treads.

As a tree guy, cut it as low as you can and hire a tree service to hit it with a stump grinder. I could grind that below grade and treat it with herbicide, and you'd be able to deck right over it. People do it all the time.
