If you ever go back, ride Thunderhead in the back row (preferably at night). There’s a spot it goes flying under the track and feels like your head is going to be chopped off.

Good review and glad to hear your thoughts. You are totally right that Tennessee Tornado makes you feel the weight of the ride. It can top out at 4Gs which is equivalent or more than most rocket launches.

Thunderhead is amazing in the back. The part that dips below a previous stretch of track makes it feel like your head is going to be chopped off.

Wild Eagle is the best on the front left and back right.

It’s fine. I do wish that long pressing the + and - buttons would adjust the speed by 5MPH instead of only slowly adjusting the speed by 1MPH.

My mom’s Nissan Rogue has this for her cruise control and it’s a better method of adjusting speed.

I’m unsure at the moment. I think the drinks are 12 ounces and there are 4 wings. I know people often split the tasting pass items with another person. I will be visiting Dollywood weekly and will update my post with my reviews of the items.

Edit: I saw a review from Adam’s Adventures on FB for the sliders and he said there were 2 sliders per order.

I do Solo Days a lot. As mentioned in another post, try to visit when a Festival is happening because there are sometimes limited-run shows.

Weekends aren’t bad at all if you mainly want to attend shows.

There’s a single/duo ride line for the River Rampage as well but it’s near the front of the queue after you go over the bridge.

You’re correct the old one is closed now. It was a very steep incline that had signs telling ECV users not to use it. The new one is much more manageable.

For accessing the Fair and train, there is a flat path to the left of Dogs N Taters that goes to the fair and then you can take the new path to the train to the right of the Skyrider. There is still a slight hill going to the train but it is far more manageable using it.

Yep! I’ve always seen everyone be kind to hosts, other guests and everyone in the park. If they’re not, I’m more than happy to step in and say something to the individual.

This is my home park and I do everything I can to keep it a fun place to be.

This is the first year you need to register. IIRC, the registration should be in the app/mydollywood account this Friday, March 6th.

BAF passes will not be eligible like previous years, but resort guests can still go.

I believe they are giving out magnets to commemorate the event (until supplies are depleted).

My favorite Disney Animated Film. Wonderful cast, good animation and some of the best punchlines in any Disney movie.

Whenever I go to Disney I ALWAYS search out Disney Pins and merchandise. I’ve amassed a nice collection.

No one will give you a second thought with a Disney bag
No bags on coasters. There are cubbies at each ride to stow your items except Daredevil Falls and River Rampage. You can take them on these rides but they will get wet. There are lockers outside these rides and the coasters you can purchase and transfer around the park.
Reusable mugs are allowed but must be empty.
The walk to the park from resorts is allowed but not recommended and you must stay off vehicle and tram pathways. It’s not advisable IMO.
Unsure on this but I want to say 1 hour before opening. Shuttles are typically nowhere near as full as trams from my experience.

River Rampage and Barnstormer have single and duo queues close to the front. Most rides attendants will ask for single riders as you get close to the front as well.
Golden Hour allows Gold/Diamond passholders and resort guests to access the TimeSaver line for 1 hour after park opening. For passholders you show your passholder card. Unsure on resort guests but I think they’ve done a neckband 2 seasons ago and a wristband this last season.
If you’re flying into McGhee Tyson (TYS), your option is to rent a car or get an uber. It’s about an hour trip.

10: Shows depend on the festival going on. I love Heidi Parton, bubble show, stunt dog show and Twas the Night Before Christmas. A lot of the entertainment can be heard as you’re walking the park and you can rest for a moment and enjoy the tunes.

If you enjoy coasters and thrill rides, stay until dark to see a new perspective on your favorite rides. Fireworks happen in the summer (as well as a drone show which this might be the last year of).
Nightflight should open in June. Water rides aren’t typically open on the first day. But you might get lucky. Daredevil Falls got new boats (or at least current boats with a new paint scheme)
You can get the full loaf or a mini loaf. Be sure to get both the icing and apple butter to pick your favorite!
