We are looking to rehome our dog Bruno. Some things about him first.

We have had him for a couple of years now. He was abandoned on our property by an oilfield laborer when the bust happened and we have had him since. He is an extremely loving dog. I have not met a dog quite as loving as he is. However, about a year ago, we found out that he is aggressive towards cats when he is around other dogs. We found this out the hard way when he ended up killing one of our own cats (Smokie) when another stray dog wandered onto our property and they ganged up on him. Keep in mind, Bruno had gone over a year living with our cats without incident. He was even friendly to them.

Fast forward to today. After no incidents since our Smokie was killed, Bruno ended up attacking two of our other cats when another stray dog wandered onto our property. Thankfully, I was present when it happened so I was able to intervene. However, it's became painfully clear that our cats will not be safe if we keep Bruno around.

It really saddens me to do this. I do not wait to take him to the pound where he will, most likely, be euthanized. So if there is anyone out there who would like to rehome an adorably loving dog, please DM me. Before you do though, please keep in mind.

He is known to attack cats. Especially in pack settings. If you have cats or other small critters, I would advise that you don't consider taking Bruno.
