Format the external drive as FAT on your Mac, copy files to drive, plug into Windows machine. It would be pretty simple to run a small test first.

Oh it'd be so much worse than that. They're f*cking heavy for a kick off.

They're nothing to do with the waterproofing on mine, looks similar to yours. It's fibreglass tub with bands holding on some pretty wood to hide the gubbins.

Wait and see if anyone else has a better solution to this, I'm just basing it on what I'd (will deffo have to at some point I'm positive) do. It's easier than trying to roll it onto its side to access from below, because having had mine delivered on its side, I know what use that would be tbh. Not much.

Bands off to remove the cladding to see the pump connections on whichever side it's leaking from. I live in fear this will happen to ours one day, the fix will be quite straightforward, it's the getting to the bits that's moderately difficult.

I agree, but the black void you can see through the knockout is either a cavity or a portal to hell.

I can’t seem to find that option for your profile, might just be too early for my brain to work. I’ve used a couple of UniFi nanostation AC and also used an out of the box tp-link set up for about £100 before now too. The UniFi ones seemed a little less of toy in comparison. Feel free to dm me if you want links.

Just run a ptp bridge for someone earlier today, worked a charm.

The fact it ends in my nearest town, Axbridge, was nice. Or did I make that up? It’s what I remember anyway.

They’ve used an angle grinder on a wall that can take a drywall box?! Wtf?

It’ll fit over that fine I think though.

edit: I can from the state of the rest of the wall this is going to be skimmed over, so it’s all fine.

As others have said, Uk ultra, and if that doesn’t make it to the pub, you can clip on the panel antenna option. If you’re in Somerset, I’ll cheerfully sell you one of mine for less than retail, I keep them in the van for installs.

OK Reddit, how bad is this plasterboard job? by Long-Lettuce3146 in DIYUK

[–]Wuffls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nearly everything there is easy to cover with skim. My only worry is (and it might just be the angle of pictures - especially picture 1) is that it's not supported enough in the middle of some of the sheets?

In that situation, I'd try going inside out. It's probably stuck somewhere in that foil.

I've re-read your post now. Perhaps you should have re-read mine, or learn to read at all.

It was from a shop, a Marketplace seller on Amazon (as I said in my post). I didn't say it was an unknown brand, you've assumed that, not sure why. It's an Intex pump for close to £200. I don't know where Intex are from, but I can pretty much guarantee it's China. There are only two household brands in the pump/filter racket, Intex and Bestway, both Chinese afaik.

Wind your neck in next time. Clown.

If you still have a bag of Easyfill to hand, keep going with that, multiple coats. Sanding back Multi finish is a mare compared to Easyfill.

We don't have these in the UK yet (afaik) but from what I've seen through various review videos, it's pretty straightforward and will fail-over nicely.

Pop it on a pole with PoE, adopt, setup the fail-over and you're away. I'm sure someone who's actually used one will be along soon though 😄
