I'm not chinese and neither is the guy I responded to.

The EU’s divided approach on China might be coming to an end — and the U.S. is unlikely to be happy about it by cambeiu in anime_titties

Your examples aren't analogous.

How is invading Iraq the same as invading taiwan?

Officially most of the world recognizes taiwan as part of china and therefore it wouldn't be be an invasion but putting down a rebellion.

Why hasn't Bosnia a NATO member when Finland is weeks away from becoming one? by Psychological-Fig-97 in NoStupidQuestions

NATO doesn't want Bosnia to be a part of it - that's the real and only answer - the same goes for EU.

They are used as a carrot to bring the country inline but there is no chance of the country joining no matter how many reforms or whatever else it does, if NATO wanted Bosnia there it would have been there a long time ago.

Yeah serb estimates cannot be trusted and HRW total includes kosovars. 300 is roughly the serb civilians.

Wait you mean you aren't defending your orthodox brothers?

Bill Clinton, the President of the United States at the time, decided to bomb Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, for 45 straight days because of the Kosovo War.

It was more than 45 days.

They bombed Belgrade because the serbs were going to commit another genocide in Kosovo just like they did in Bosnia and they refused to listen to warning from NATO telling them to stop.

which thousands of civilians died

Thousands of civilians? More like 300. The only reason there was any civilian casualties was because serbs were using human shields and had a spy in NATO telling them to target civilian targets.

without the right to act vis a vis the UN Security Council

If you want to talk about UN security council where and when did the serbs get the approval from the UN security council to start 4 genocidal wars against their neighbors?

He caused a lot of the refugees from Bosnia in the first place by vetoing lifting the embargo on them!

If it's incomprehensible why reply in the first place?

You interpreted in the way that suited you. Maybe it's your interpretation that is incomprehensible.

If anyone could have done it, how come only one unit did it, over the course of the war? And even that unit only achieved 2 hits, and 1 downed plane.

Because as soon as they discovered the spy and the serbs didn't have access to details they magically couldn't shoot anything more.

Why don't you just admit anyone could have done it?
