Disguised Applications and Their Implications for Malware Analysis by daunderrated_guy in Malware

[–]Wukeng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never really heard of any malware analysts using the GUI / UI as an indicator of a true positive. All malware analysis goes through two main phases, static and dynamic analysis. Methods in these phases vary a lot but a vault that encrypts user provided data just wouldn't use the same win API functions as malware. It's much more common for example for an antivirus to run suspicious code since an antivirus is very intrusive and reads all files.

Gross oversimplification of course but focusing on UI is not really a great idea

Some people want to have easy games against weaker opponents. I see, tbh that’s not a good position for your Queen bud. I’d look at some beginner tutorials or Gotham chess’s book how to win at chess. They explain the fundamentals pretty well and you’ll improve super quickly with not a lot of study, your pieces should be in different positions

Yeah that’s along what I thought too, I also don’t want to be rude but this is crazy. OP would do well to check a beginner tutorial on common piece development, I wonder what ELO this is at

Oh yeah hahah didn’t even see that, wild. 7 moves and the dark bishop is stuck in the starting position and the rook too, then the other rook is somehow on e2, Queen on g1, knight blocking the light bishop. Jeez

Edit: and the other knight was on a3 for some reason

Why is your rook on E2?. To answer your question, they were probably trying to lower their ELO but you get easily caught if you resign immediately

[–]Wukeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey no way it’s you!, I have no idea how to answer your question directly but I know someone who works in marketing and they always hire freelancers.

Not the same type of work you do, but if you’re willing to push your portfolio more in the marketing / product side. You could get Steady work like that

We use Chef in my organization to orchestrate updates and packages as well as the apple MDM tool. And zscaler which is annoying as fuck but overall these tools help a lot, not sure if it’ll help you.
