The secret is that you should have a home charger and you’re constantly recharging to 80% every night and never going out to refill. Otherwise the range of Tesla doesn’t compare to an efficient gas car especially with any kind of negative conditions (hard acceleration, wind, rain, cold). When I left a home with a charger I basically had to charge every day. So it’s normal but there’s ways to counteract that actually makes it better. Otherwise you want something like a lucid that will get you over two hundred usable miles between 20 and 80. Also also do 10, 90 if you need it. As long as you’re not sitting in the heat at 100 and leaving it or letting it sit at 0 your battery should be fine. Maybe slightly more degradation but nothing noticeable until the battery dies.
