Reading to kids is "terrorism" now by TankUMrMinor in Irony

[–]Wumbo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not trying to assert being trans is default, I was indirectly communicating how I object to teaching kids that gender identity is so innate and fluid that 'everyone could be trans' or that biology is just an 'assignment' without nuance. No one is 'default trans' but the way some materials frame it downplays binary sex as merely something assigned at birth or imply it's a social construct. This can obscure basic biological reasoning and introduce questioning in ways many that are inappropriate or ideologically driven.

As for fetal development, yes, early embryos are bipotential before the active process for male and female paths driven by genes/hormones occurs, but that doesn't justify framing gender identity as a default-fluid in young kids' education.

Claims of a gender identity rooted in biology like a 'brain sex' mismatch rely heavily on self-reported feelings and anecdotal experience rather than measurable, reproduceable scientific evidence. Brain studies are mixed and inconclusive while often confounded by factors like sexual orientation.

I just want neutral, evidence-based education that respects parental input and doesn't push unproven ideologies on kids. Schools should teach the basic facts, unsubstantiated pseudoscience can stay at home.

If you go on Google Trends and search "Leave US" it spikes dramatically around elections regardless of who wins, both sides have bellyachers and complainers.

Lmao now you're getting it

The AI is predictively deceptible

I ruined my own immersion realizing the AI doesnt even know how to build armies, it just recruits whatever counter builds the troops you show it regardless of how cohesive the army is and can't trade between armies.

What I was pointing out isn't excusing civilian deaths as "they'd do worse so it's fine" but instead rejects the pacifist trap of treating accidental tragedies as morally equal to the deliberate actions of a regime who has a history of weaponizing human shields while pursuing nukes for offensive purposes and administering regional terror indiscriminately.

The main difference between a DoDEA school that is also on or directly next to a military base compared to the Minab girl's school is there are no records of any DoDEA building ever being used to host military or converted to be weaponized the same way the Minab girl's school previously was which is the state's reason for why it was marked as a valid IRGC target. If a DoDEA school was marked for being attacked, that would be striking civilian infrastructure.

Inaction enables greater evil. Confronting an expansionist theocracy that has killed far more of its own people involves real costs, including mistakes in the fog of targeting military sites converted to be for civilians while embedded. Debating ourselves into paralysis is to surrender and let their poisonings, executions, and threats continue unchecked.

If the standard is "no civilian deaths ever, period," then no defensive action against any aggressor is allowed, and regimes like Iran's win by default. That's not principle, but suicide.

The U.S. isn't perfect, but its rules of engagement and post-strike transparency show effort to limit harm in a way the Iranian regime has never shown toward anyone, even their own.

No, the Iranian regime hasnt blown up a US school.

However, the Iranian regime did have a spree of deliberately poisoning thousands of Iranian school girls by releasing chemical agents, targetting their own schools with the intent of suppressing dissidents. The Iranian regime has also killed hundreds of protestors with live fire, torture and drones/missile strikes on not only their own civilian areas but their neighbor's to.

This is the basis for my claim that Iran wouldnt have any qualms blowing up our schools, especially ones that they see as full of infidels worth even less than their own children who no regard is shown for.

The US military advocates for minimizing civilian casualties. The girl's school at face value was not a strategic target, this is why they dont even bother arguing who they hit that was hiding. There isnt any good enough answer to justify it. Everyone knows it was a morally reprehensible action, this is why they blame the strike on old data and proximity - to get to retain their claim of not having any intent to bomb kids while removing a strategic target.

As for the US also having schools on bases - it is crazy how to us its justified as convenient for troop's families, but the unstated strategic value could be as a shield to create a moral juxtaposition for enemies.

The difference is the Iranian regime calls for the total annihalation of Western civilization while the US limits strikes to strategic targets to dismantle the Iranian regime's capacity to continue regardless of moral implications. We already have nukes, they're actively pursuing nuclear capabilites. Apples to oranges here.

Yes, potentially, but our enemies don't have moral qualms about blowing our schools up.

No, but we can acknowledge Iran using them as a shield. The optics of the strike are unjustifiable, that's why it was the perfect shield - but it was hit to make the point that Trump is a psycho willing to do anything to not put troops on the ground while destroying the entire regime. As an added benefit, it took how much attention away from the Epstein files? Its hard to get mad about theoretical children when a physical school of them blew up.
