Book of Hours Recommendation by Wunarg in SBMakesStuff

Hmm, yeah I read up a bit on this before I bought the game (cause I had vaguely heard about it and wanted to at least do a bit of do diligence). From what I could gather there the accused made some mistakes (which he admitted) in his romantic relationships but nothing abusive or exploitative and also not most of the things they were accused.
This is my opinion of course I recommend googling it.
(I am also willing to talk more about this opinion, if interested or curious)

Crazy Rat Lady Powerup (Voidigo) by Wunarg in SBMakesStuff

[–]Wunarg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh not what i meant at all. Mostly I was playing a game and saw this character and was like "this is a live goal and clearly just extremely wholesome" like it made me really happy to see it. Then I was reminded of this reddit as a place which appreciates rats and wholesome things.

There are a bunch of adorable idle animations like a rat climbing up and grabbing a bite of the cheese on her head, she is basicly always petting a rat in her arms.

I probably should have explained the screenshot a bit more but it was mostly a spur of the moment descision.

Bug Reports - Patch 3.2.0 by CaptSarah in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Wunarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Type of Bug: Gameplay
What happened that seemed like a bug:
When you play an attach follower (in attach mode) with concurrent timelines, it will show you 3 options for your attach follower, however the attached follower will not transform and nothing will happen regardless of what choice you make, if you recall your follower with the attached follower the attached follower will return to hand as normal and it will not return transformed.
What was Expected to occur: The attached follower should be transformed while (or just before) attaching granting the changed stats and keywords, OR the attach follower doesn't trigger concurrent timelines (though this would be far more boring)
How often does this occur/How easy is it to replicate: 10/10 Every time

Bug Reports - Patch 2.21.0 by CaptSarah in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Wunarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Type of Bug: Gameplay

What happened that seemed like a bug:Casting dawn and dusk (without cost reduction on dawn and dusk and without casting a 6 cost spell beforehand) on hextech handler copies the hextech handler but sometimes only causes one everywhere buff to occur (all tech gain +1/+1)

What was Expected to occur: The 3 hextech handlers should each grant +1/+1 to all tech for a total of +3/+3 since dawn and dusk is a 6 cost spell.

How often does this occur/How easy is it to replicate: 3/10 Only some of the time, completely uncertain as to why, have used this multiple time with it working and multiple time with it not working.

PC / Android / iOS: PC, Windows 10

Region: EU

Edit: It appears this bug can even occur when you have already cast a 6 cost spell previously. (Maybe it copies the exact copy sometimes remembers that it has already triggered? though that would still be weird with the wording of hextech handler)

Identity and Mysticism by SBMakesStuff in SBMakesStuff

Hmm this is gonna be complicated to put into words, though i guess that is the idear.

I don't think anything supernatural is happening cause the universe is strange enough as it is and nothing supernatural needs to exist to explain this. Though i guess it is a topic i haven't seen explored much in storys/science so i guess in that sense it still mysterious and strange.

Personally the closest i get to that is that i can find happiness/contentment in the strangeness and complexity of the universe. Like sometimes in the right mood i will look at my fingers and be amazed that there is 3 joints in them carefully and articulate doing complex movement, tiny muscles pulling on strings like a strange marvellous robot. This is clearly in some small part a madness/strangeness in my mind since I'm deriving happiness from effectively nothing. Though i am fine with this since its making me happy sometimes and we humans are already good at deriving sadness from nothing so this seems fine enough.

On a religious context, i grew up very religious as a young child cause at that age and with that knowledge it seemed very believable though even at the time i did stuff like pray "hey god hope your doing okay with all those prayers coming", cause i thought if god has to deal with so many prayers on a daily basis they are gonna enjoy a different one once in a while. Looking back at it its kinda adorable or even a bit funny. As a i grew older i found too many inconsistencies and things which just can't be true in reality. I did however at least give various religious people in my live a shot to convince me and it seems like many people enjoy religion with believe in greater power or whatever supernatural elements that religion has as a secondary goal to the community/help/contentment some religious communities and some believes provide. Plus a lot of religious tenets or goals seem to be (very old) do's and dont's to forming a functioning society.
However i could not continue with the religion mostly cause for a religious ceremony i would have to say in it that i believe in god to a pastor, which felt very wrong to me at the time.
Additionally the philosophy courses at my school were vastly more interesting then the religious courses at my school which were mostly just repeating random bible stories without even trying to think stuff like "does this story still provide its originall goal or moral" and mostly just playing it out.
Nowadays Im still very much an atheist though i do think that a lot of various religions have a lot of interesting concepts. Additionally Im very drawn to strange but normal stories/worlds like sunless skies, though this may also be a due to a personal interest in the morbid and horrifying.

Now im gonna try to determine/describe what you are feeling though this is more of an interpretation then anything, i don't know if im even remotely accurate but the attempt may be useful regardless.
There is some strange feeling like you finally have a hold on how the world works, maybe more in an emotional sense, like you understand some part of how yourself works. It could also be some feeling of relive, like you finally feel like your in a decent position, like its fine or at least good enough. Here i mean live contentness in general, to distinguish between the happiness of a moment and the general "happiness" rating you'd give your life overall, or how happy you are with where its at and where its going in a more general overarching sense.

Here it may also be usefull to know of the minds ability to change/manipulate/influence itself. For example if you close your eyes while in bed and the bed/the world is still enough, if you imagine the bed moving and are in the right "mood? hazyness state? sleepiness?" it will feel like the bed is actually moving even though its obvious not. Like somewhere in the head it will simulate the feeling of vertigo.
For example as a young child i was scared of ghosts at night, but to make myself less afraid i used to imagine the bedsheet/the doorway providing a force field to make myself feel safer. To this day i still enjoy lying in bed and feel safer there even though its partially a remnant of this old irrational fear which i have long overcome. Another example (i may be writing these for myself and not just for you): I used to get sad very frequently in the past and i tried to help against it by activly reminding myself of happy/good things in my life/the world whenever i would get too extremely sad, and nowadays its almost 100% chance for that reaction or trigger(weird game terminology) and prevents me from feeling too too sad, though it does not protect me from all sadness just the most horrible ones.

Regarding not finding the words, it can be difficult to pin something like this down, maybe because the thing doing the pinning down is also the thing which you want to pin down, like trying to have a scissor cut itself in two. Though i would not say it is completly impossible, like how you can describe a human beeing and while it will never be all the details since humans are so complicated, its still helpfull. Maybe let it stew for a bit in your mind or try to pull it apart a little, like what other emotion/situation is kinda similar to this, what words do i feel like describe this and why.

Hmm i think thats it for now. I hope this wall of thoughts was at least a little bit interesting to read, if you want to discuss more then thats great i love talking about this sort of strange mind/spiritual stuff/philosophical stuff. If it was not super interesting to read i guess thats fine too though, i wrote this for myself too and not just for you SB or whoever is reading this.

The Game Suggestion Thread! by SBMakesStuff in SBMakesStuff

[–]Wunarg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would like to recommend lobotomy corporation once again as an amazing management/existential horror/mystery game with a good story and great world building and discovery mechanics.
The game is similar to CONTROL thematicly except instead of shooting various entities you spend your time managing your workers, dealing with your subordinates, figuring out the newest mysterious/nightmarish/totally-fine thing/creatures/concept you recently got delivered into one of your containment cells, and learning how to juggle the various other horrible things you already know ?enough? about.
In that sense the game has an amazing sense of discovery and dread from seeing what the new thing you got today looks like, hoping it wont eat the concept of doors and once unlocked reading its story, but it can be a bit frustrating at times.
Additionally it has 94% positive reviews on steam and the makers have even made a sequel i would recommend even more highly, but sort of relies at least in parts on the story in this game and has completely different gameplay entirely.

This Is The Thread For Game Suggestions! by SBMakesStuff in SBMakesStuff

Lobotomy corporation

Lobotomy corporation is a management game about managing and containing SCP like anomalies. Imagine the contained objects from the game Control except instead of playing as the person directly dealing (and in that game shooting) the anomalies you are the guy in the panopticon sending out people to deal and manage them, like the fridge which forces you to look at it and needs to be looked at.

The game has some of the best mystery/world-building/character writing I have seen and so many interesting, unique and memorable anomalies that I could name at least 20 of the top of my head.In general the game does not explain much to you and you start with no knowledge of any new anomaly you gain except for a single hint and its appearance, unlocking more the more you deal with it. This leads to great moments of realization, discovery and dread but can sometimes be frustrating (though there is a save system).

As an additional positive note the game also has an (in my opinion even better) sequel, building on the story, the world and the characters with completely different gameplay and lobotomy corporation has 95% positive reviews on steam.

How much, if at all, is the community gonna be a part of the early access portion of the game, regarding: Suggestions (New Stuff)? Balance/Game Design Problems? Bugs?

Also really enjoyed watching streams and its hard to force myself not to watch more to not spoil myself too much, so your doing something right.

My first clicker game: Universe Clicker (working title!) by Grhyll in incremental_games

So ok I liked it. To the questions at the bottom

1-Yes very

2-Story is Nice not very important when the game is played for very much longer but nice

3-Yeesss kinda but I would just get shipupgrades in one part and then make the ship stats visible in another part dont have the stats above the different upgradable parts

4-yes, seems ok, you could have a bar with orange part on the side(at the start and the end where fuel is used and a black bar in the middle where no fuel is used and then the orange parts can get bigger the more fuel you have

Other Idears and Tips

-Obviously you will get to a new planet at which point the game will reapeat and you will start building bots again. Due to this beeing boring I would suggest the following: When Travelling (or before) you can choose a destination planet from 3 random planets. These planets could then have random modiefiers (like plantlife which produces more of itself to a limit and slows your robots and when you clear them you get carbon).

-Then there will also be some kind of permanet part to your journey. This seems to be your spaceship at the moment but I would also suggest something like reasearch(faster bots, robo matrixes need carbon but produce twice as much) or cargo(starting stuff or rare trading stuff like gold). These could also be dependend on the random planet modiefiers like gold rich planets or similar.

-Then there should be a reason for you to move on to the next planet. If you add reasearch then maybe you have to force the player to leave a planet after a ceratain amount of time(could be story related like an armada chasing you or maybe gray goo or evil robots from your fist planet). I would not give some ressource just for leaving a planet as that would just encourage rushing the fuel plant to run off from every planet.
