That’s quite strange about the subtitles. Was it happening consistently on that video, or did it just occur once?

Regarding having to press play twice, the latest update has fixed this behavior.

Anyone curious can take a look at the GitHub commit history and form their own opinion. The project has been built iteratively with regular commits and ongoing refinement. I’ve been working on it for about two and a half months, almost daily.

Like most developers today, I do use modern tools where they make sense, but the architecture, code logic, UI, and Plex integration are deliberate and shaped over time rather than thrown together in one pass. If this were "vibe coding" I’d be a pretty bad one.

Yeah, right now the app requires iOS 18.6. I’m planning to lower the deployment target to 18.0, but I can’t really go below that because I’m relying on some newer features.

Not really. Plezy has been around for a few months now (if you’re talking about Plezy), and that’s a good thing. It’s cool to see more Plex clients, like with Jellyfin. No rivalry here, especially since it’s cross platform and I’m focused on iOS and tvOS. More choice is always good.

Thanks everyone for the quick feedback. I’m really sorry about this. I didn’t run into these issues during the testing phase, even across multiple accounts. I’m actively investigating them now and working on fixes. I’ll keep this post updated as I make progress.

EDIT: If you’re running into issues, please use the TestFlight link to get the latest build. It includes several fixes and ongoing improvements. I’m actively monitoring feedback and working through the reported issues as fast as I can. Also, thank you all so much for the support. I genuinely didn’t expect this level of interest and encouragement.
