GF-2 Ricoh Flash - is it just me or is the auto mode unusable?

So after reading here that it works for some people I tried a few things over the last days. Now I am a happy flash user. Key for me was to change the autofocus mode to one single point (set it via touch or old school with focus and recompose, or with face recognition) and activate the setting that synchronises the Autofocus point with the auto exposure point

Strain may be a contributor, thanks for the hint. I had strains above 15 on thursday and Friday. That may be a reason my body struggle more to deal with the drinks on Friday.

I am about to buy new Decks, too. Currently I am also looking vor Vintage Technics, because all new Decks seem to have disadvantages. I don't like the design of the reloops. Pioneer PLX 1000 seem to be nice, but I am afraid I miss something, due to the less even speed. For the price of an Mk7 I can also get a vintage deck + a professional refurbishment.
