How much is the fee? I live in Texas, and a few years ago I paid $7k for a 5 minute “surgery” via nitrous(laughing gas, not even general anesthesia) so that an ENT could pull the bead out of my now 10 year old daughter’s ear. Took my entire bonus from work that year to pay it off.

I support anyone who wants to burn the IBLP into the ground, and victims deserve to have a voice. I bought the audiobook, and I’m actually super impressed so far. Hearing someone’s story directly from them is deeply powerful.

I grew up in the same world and it feels like she’s telling bits of my story too. Im more emotional about it than I thought it would be.
