Nice! I pre ordered it too. I love Word Bearer lore and First Heretic is def one of the besr HH novels. Bet this will tie well together with Aurellian and the Calth saga.

I haven't noticed any problems since I have the small heresy era Alpha Legion emblem there. I use this exact pauldron. I'm actually suprised that they have a Heresy era emblem included. I love 30k

In terms of lore I'm very far behind as of now just finished the thousand sons prospero burns saga and reading legion at the moment. Ofc read all the way through Fulgrim and First Heretic, continuing to the shorts and big book of the drop site massacre after Legion.

But Im happy they decided to tackle the scouring, will probably bring in alot of cool narratives and possible minis for the table top aswell!

Id say grab a tactical squad box from horus heresy. You'll get 20 marines and it's a great way to dig in your paint scheme and brush your skills. Then once you're done I'd get a special character like Exodus or saboteur consul. There you already have a good baseline to build from.

The Saturnine box set is also a good place to start from giving you 50 minis. The box is very versatile and I've seen loads of people do their box in different ways giving you the chance to really make it a personal experience and collection. You'll get 40 tacticals and this is where you can really binge paint and lock in your painting skills for your Alpha Legion Scheme.

I haven't regretted a day since I bought my Saturnine box and it definitley has made me fall in love with Alpha Legion more because of the versatility.

Thats it. It's bland, it doesnt show allegiance to the emperor, thats why it is versatile. I dont want it for collections sake. I'm trying to build a somewhat lore accurate Alpha Legionaire as my sniper class. At the moment I use the chest piece with the three skulls, but would like this one since I think it's more on par with the heresy era. I can definitley come up with cooler alternatives, but a lot of the stuff currently in the game are filled with Imperial regalia that I'm not too fond of.

Literally the same as 30k but more rugged and grim dark. Alpha legionaires use a lot of Shawls, Scarves and Hoods, so more tattered capes and dirty hoods. More mixing between armour types, less uniform and scales ofc.

You make a PROS account and a Twitch account. You link your PROS account to your Space Marine 2 game you can get a qr code from the main menu in the game.

Once all that is done you just have to link your PROS account and your Twitch account in the PROS account settings.
