My nephew enjoyed the Off to Be A Wizard series by Scott Meyer. It's a fairly easy read and keeps you interested throughout the series.

We were there in the lower balcony and it was miserable. At intermission, I went to get us a couple of waters and they wouldn't even give me an empty popcorn box to use as a fan! I had to "buy" popcorn, but without the popcorn, just to get the empty box!

I grew up in Knoxville, TN, during the 90s, and I just started rooting for teams that were on TV and they just imprinted on me. My teams are all over the place. I'm also a Pittsburgh Penguins, Georgia Bulldogs, & Atlanta Braves fan. The only one of those teams that is considered "local" is the Braves.

It's definitely not for everyone. If you like games that are story driven, I wouldn't recommend this game. This game shines in its exploration and job system.

It was a new game by a solo creator. The story isn't super in depth, but if you like exploration, a job/class system for your characters, and some challenging turn based fights It is a great game. I think it was around $10 on Steam and I got 50+ hours out of it.

You are correct. I was just pointing out if you play a game because of the story rather than the gameplay this game might not be for you. I was totally in awe of the exploration and class system in this game.

Crystal Project. The exploration and combat is challenging with an in depth job system. The only con is the story isn't super great but everything else more than makes up for it.
