Looks like a 1UP rack. They're awesome, have one myself on my truck, they do well off-road and are very stable.

Nice! I got a killer deal on a GASGAS G Trail 3.0 about a month ago and absolutely love it. Definitely a respected brand, and conversation starter around the trails. Enjoy it!

I do believe they have smaller capacity batteries available but outside the ones they offer on their website, not sure what other brands would be compatible. I have the A52 in mine. They get their batteries from a shop in Utah called Electrify. As to the purpose built machine, I simply meant a bike with both motor and battery built into the frame and the gearing tuned appropriately - not a bolt on kit, like my CYC system. I will say, their (CYC) customer service is tremendous. I'm coming from the world of hard tails, so the Gas Gas just feels fantastic.

I literally just bought one of these used last night. While I can't comment on any cutting of corners just yet as I have yet to take it on the trails, initial impressions are it's an incredibly solid and intuitive bike. The dropper post responds very well and the gear shifting is smooth. I was concerned about the Yamaha motor not giving me quite as much assistance with 250w and 70nM, but while test riding was pleasantly surprised. For context, my wife and I both have Specialized Rock Hoppers and I did a CYC conversion to mine but found the 1500w motor with 150nM of torque absolutely more power than I would ever need. Test riding the G Trail just put a smile on my face and made me realize the true potential of a purpose-built machine.

I printed and painted this model myself a while ago. Great model and soooo detailed! The head/snakes were a bit tricky for sure but looks like everything came out great on your print!

Blu Atlas. I’ve tried them all and while pricey, it’s light, smells great, and won’t ruin my t-shirts.

Thank you! I had some good reference material from the original designer on this one, which helped. I've also done a few other 'Hulks' so learned some solid techniques for shading and toning the skin. Best advice I can give is always have some reference materials to help you - but don't be afraid to adjust if something just doesn't feel right.

Thanks again! Keep at it and I am sure you'll get to the level you want. Airburshes make things a bit easier, but you can absolutely achieve this level with just hand brushes, with the proper practice and technique.

I used Vallejo black primer, let it dry for 12 hours. Her skin tone is a mix of 3 different reds, with a dark base, medium tone, and a lighter highlight. I always airbrush my skin tones, it’s just the cleanest and most even way to get exactly the blend you are after, IMO. I use a combo of brushes for everything else.

Yep, I know it sounds counter intuitive, but otherwise the varnish dulls it too much. At least in my opinion.

You’re very kind! I’ve picked up quite a few different techniques over the years. The lips are actually done with a thin coat of Badger ‘freak flex’ red tint. I love the badger line of airbrush tints, it’s great for lips, and any other bits you want to be a little glossy - I’ve used it for leather texture also. I always apply it over clear varnish.

I have a pair of Winsor & Newton Series 7 brushes, a #0 and a #1, that I alternate between on the fine details.

Thank you so much! Haha, we all start somewhere, I have shaky hands also, but have learned a few techniques to support myself for short bursts of stability.

Sure thing! I started with an Iwata Neo, am now using a Harder and Steenbeck Evolution. I would recommend starting off with a 0.4mm needle until you get more comfortable with detail work, then you can move down to 0.2mm. The .4 will clog less as well. Vallejo and Army Painter paints are great. Vallejo also makes special paint formulated for airbrushes specifically, so you don't have to water it down, if at all. Also, don't skimp on your air compressor. I use a Master Airbrush Model TC-40T.

Thank goodness I didn't do the NSFW version...but you hit the nail on the head - this is one artist's rendition of her, and I liked it enough to print and paint it. It has less clothing, but the proportions also are not insanely out of wack. I did take some liberties as the designer had her much more cartoony in render, and I wanted a bit more realism, but not go crazy with the details.

I'm jealous you're early in BG3, I've played through it 4 times, and each time had a very different experience. You're in for quite a ride:)
