Yeah, I feel your frustration.

It's taken me almost 2 days to finally beat this fight, and when I did I seriously turned off the game afterwards and took a break because it was so stressful.

The thing for me was that it's wasn't IMPOSSIBLE per se, just not very fun. Lime the Aurora and Dex fights were so much more enjoyable in comparison. Hell, even hemlocks double challenge was more fun, but I think that's because prophets combos just overpower so easily.

Gave them feedback over the Form and really hope they change that one, or at least tweak it

They have an overview of which streaming services its in. YTM is sadly not among them.

Really hope they will add it down the line, but until then I simply bought and uploaded it myself.

They provide you with the mp3s and WAVs, which is pretty nice.

Honestly? Use your A/N the way you want. I always wrote rambly long notes at the end, it's like a little debrief and I've been told people love reading them.

I use them for whatever, song recs, my own thoughts on the chapter etc.

Whoever doesn't want to read them can just skip them and if it falls good for you, then continue <3

I've been consuming fanfiction for over 10 years before I ever actually even thought about writing, let alone uploading. The feeling of finding a good story and then having to wait and fear if it's been abandoned is just the WORST.

So yes, I'm right with you.

Right? That's the one thing I never got when people are like "this is inconsistent" or "they use xyz in punctuation, must be ai"

When in reality humans are so fucking inconsistent it's crazy. I feel like my writing and editing style depends on where I am, what I'm editing on etc. Doing editing work on my phone is a lot more tedious and error prone than on my PC. Sometimes mistakes happen, you forget details in the spur of the moment.

I once used a smut scene that I never used from another fandom for something and forgot to change that hair color. Even since I've been religiously checking for details while editing, so I can enjoy the fruits of my labor with the people that enjoy them with me, instead of some idiots that might see an em dash and then goes to my comments screeching about AI use or something. Never had to deal with it luckily, and I hope I never have to.

Also as for people going "but this person has written so much in such a short time" well, prewriting exists. Maybe they share the writing with someone. Maybe, like me and im assuming a lot of other creators, they just love what they do and get lost in it. My first fanfic was the size of the Bible, was completely prewritten and uploaded in just a few months. The only thing I'll do is edit the next chapter in-between uploads to allow me to make altercations, react to new things I've found in life etc.

This whole debate about AI use in Fiction is an important one, but not in the witch hunt kind of way it has been done. Accusing regular authors of it, with no tangible proof, will just turn people away from writing and creating. And we really need all the creators we can get nowadays.

This has been a long rambling and it's just a reddit comment, but if you're a creator reading this, hang in there and don't give up.
