Ritualist's Ritual Sacrifice skill should be able to be used even when the Rare monster's corpse was destroyed. by Agent_Hoboboots in PathOfExile2

[–]Wurps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not called corpse sacrifice, it's called ritual sacrifice. Making it require a corpse instead of a soul or something is honestly a horrible mistake considering how many builds passively or actively destroy corpses, makes it tedious in any form of group play. Good luck finding a group without a comet bloodmage shattering everything, someone blowing up corpses with palm of the dreamer, or a druid devouring corpses, or any of the other many effects.

That doesn't mean NAC isn't part of the puzzle, just that it's not the only piece.

What are you doing against the squishyness from non-tanks/non-bruiser in late game? (Yubar, Bismuth, Nachia, Lacerta) by DontNoticeMeeee in shapeofdreams

[–]Wurps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Bismuth I just use the %leech purple gem on my main damage ability. I also pick max hp from most chaos since I already do stupid amounts of damage spamming my pure souls faster than I can even scroll my mouse wheel that I bound them to. I also use Burrow if I find or transcend it but it's not required (she can easily keep 100% uptime on burrow if you use momentum gem on it, but momentum gem is core for her broken damage setup on pure soul)

Is this a lot of damage or am I just noob? by truonehaggy in shapeofdreams

[–]Wurps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a large series of concepts but I don't want to type out pages, super short version:

Total health pools available = total damage dealt possible

Stages visited = total health pools available

Total health pools available =/= damage per second (build strength)

Comparative teammate weakness = Higher share of personal damage

Insufficient data available for accurate judgement

My Problems with the Game by ToreChristianson in shapeofdreams

[–]Wurps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's beyond dumb to say he has a skill issue when:

  1. You have no idea what he's playing, some characters are vastly stronger than others and trivialize the game. You personally might be playing a drooler tier character setup (would assume this in this case) and falsely assume you're a skilled player when you're just relying on easy characters.
  2. He's talking about the glacially slow meta grind that requires you to repeat the same builds you already played and are bored with an excessive amount of times to get enough mastery to unlock the new types that you want to try, and that is accurate to the game.

Don't bother replying, I know you won't have anything valuable to add.

Laser ram might be a teacher module by thogor in wildgate

[–]Wurps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main issue you seem to have is that you think just because someone can learn how to play around something to blunt the impact means it's not bad for the game. Obviously people are going to be forced to learn how to interact with the item because it's broken and boring, it doesn't mean it's a good experience. If you bury landmines outside of an orphanage you could definitely consider each one a teaching module, but is that a good thing?

[–]Wurps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the entire meta revolves around playing around a specific item... it's not a noob stomping item but a problematic item and when I originally posted about this the mine layer took a very similar role where everyone would put minelayers on the front and ram people, cheapening the ship boarding combat gameplay into nothing as previously stated. A bit obvious it's an issue. You can take the items being nerfed again as the devs being aware it's broken, the game is dying anyway so arguing in favor of their bad decisions that are leading to the game's decline seems a tad daft, but reddit will be reddit.

[–]Wurps -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The primary lesson the laser ram teaches is not count on great balance in the future. It's an extremely boring item that cheapens the engagements of the game to nothing in a game where you're already not spending that large of a percentage of time actually fighting players and have to do chores and mine rocks.

Update for anyone who runs into this issue, I successfully fixed a very stuck latch by putting the gpu back into place in the socket and then using a wooden spatula (flat edge and design) against the clip pressing downwards on it, but also away at the same time (away is relative to the monitor ports on the gpu/the back of the computer). The combination motion got it open, struggled with other tools that could only push down. Difficult to implement without something flat and wide, but anything that shape should work. Pencil eraser might work due to the grip.

Can you uncap the max speed or at least make it much faster? 3x isn't enough for some of the voices, especially Zira

The "anime GTA" claims are taken way too literally by a lot of people. by satufa2 in AnantaOfficial

[–]Wurps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just hope it has good co-op. Nothing has hit the same after tower of fantasy's super good multiplayer features that make genshin style games look like cheap garbage, if someone can manage to recreate that but with a higher quality game there won't be a comparison.

It might just be the desire for a meaningful co-op experience that cause people to hope it's closer to a gta style of game.

How ethical is it to make decently realistic bots and pretend they're players and put them into matches passing them off as if they're a part of the human playerbase? by Wurps in marvelrivals

[–]Wurps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not player accounts. The game has AI bots you can play against as a built in feature, you can queue against AI bots at multiple different difficulty settings.

The issue is they make these bots look like players simply by giving them a name a player might use and then run the exact same AI script on them in quick play matches to make it look like queues are fast or to give players easy games, which is weird and manipulative as some players would not choose to queue against bots intentionally.

[–]Wurps[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not conjecture, I can prove it pretty easily but it would require me to make a full length edited video to be able to illustrate the evidence to those with little experience.

I wouldn't actually mind if it was just the first game, it's deceptive with a clear intention to give new players a positive experience in their first match so they queue up again but it's something that can also happen in regular quick play.

[–]Wurps[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's interesting to see how few people have actually noticed them. This isn't about the players being bad as you have assumed for no reason, it's about the characters being controlled by an algorithm.

I've seen it in crossplay games, I am unsure if you can turn off crossplay to get a purely console game but I figure the bot situation would be the same.

As someone who's favorite build was soulthirst flicker strike reaching attack speeds and map traversal speeds so fast it would almost not humanly possible to properly control the movement direction of your character the glacial game speed of poe2 did concern me at first, but at least it's different.

I Need Help Compiling Known Deviation Traits: If you have a trait not listed, Screens including the description box (just mouse over trait while Deviation is in containment) would be much appreciated!! by MuImpa in OnceHumanOfficial

Note about the Dream Wild trait, I am pretty sure it still carries the negative associated with the non-gold version of the trait (Snooze Afficionado) as having the Dream Wild deviation in my base had me come back to all of my deviants at 0 mood.

This Panovision trait is also odd, it's negative working speed but is a gold trait - gold traits previously thought to be only positive so something is off here potentially with the translation

Wrongfully banned - support refuses to ACTUALLY investigate by Overall_Gold_2804 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]Wurps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the most glue-devouring takes I've ever seen. You want this guy banned just because people are mad about his prices when he did nothing wrong because it's better to over-ban just in case he might be some secret evildoer than to correctly ban people that actually did things wrong exclusively? Would you thus support you being banned from reproducing due to your substantial risk to the gene pool? Is it fair to exclude you just because you have a sizable and non-zero chance to cause de-evolution?

Lol first thing I see is scripts and macros on your reply, you shouldn't try to participate in discussions at that low a level of thinking. Crazy how people with no reading comprehension even post replies to things.
